Club Review: Oasis Goodtime Emporium Location: Atlanta, Georgia Fees: at least $10/ 10% of earnings to the DJ (you'll have to pay housefees twice if you work mid), $5 to the house mom, $6 to the bathroom housemom, $20 (dayshift)/$25(night shift) to door man, $5 to the valet. If your VIP rooms are charged via credit card, you'll receive a 20% deduction (I'll discuss this in further detail) Rules: It's a burlesque club. You'll have to wear bottoms when you're not selling dances, VIPs, or working the pole. You'll need an accessory on stage and on the floor so that the club can stay true to its a title. No floorwork (or at least anything more than a quick drop to the floor) One of four clubs in Atlanta without a $350 license and is honestly the only one of the 4 that isn't high contact/ extras heavy (yaaay) and no schedule. They do at least expect you to work a MOnday, SUnday, or Saturday a week. Management: Very sweet house moms that are very willing to work with you and answer any of your questions regarding the club. THe management is....management? They're stern but not overbearing. THey know damn well that the rules the city places on the dancers are absurd Crowd: It's mixed during the night though there are more older white men during the day. Gets pretty crowded at night. You won't really have to fight anyone off here for contact. Its very regulars based during the day but you can still sell dances off of regulars (though it might be harder for them to budge when it comes to buying VIPs from you) Dances/VIP: $10 air dances (THANK GOD!) on the floor. Tips are pretty easy to get here. AT LEAST $150 for a 30 min VIP and $300 for a 60 min VIP. The house takes $40/$60 for the half/full hor respectively so be sure to charge your customer that fee. VIPs arent really hard to sell. If your VIP is charged by credit card ONLY pay your DJ 10% of your floor earnings;the 20% deduction accounts for his portion of the VIP. Don't be stupid like me and pay twice as much as you were supposed to Dancers: NIght shift: mostly young women with a few older women. Varied body shapes though I'd say that no one was "out of shape". Racial makeup: 60% White, 20 % Latina, 15% Asian, 5%Black Day SHift: Mostly older women with some variation in body shapes. 50% White. 40% Black, 10% Other

This club is going through political transformations. The city of Doraville annexed this property and do not allow strip clubs. It is revamped as burlesque club. Dancers are given props for stage etc to sell this aspect. There are also silk rope performances, body painting, and other artistic elements thrown in. Tip outs are 45 and up. Everyone gets a tip here and there. Dances are ten - - very low for a nude club. But, Atlanta is known for serving alcohol and having nudity and this is really one of the last places as a region that rolls thst way. People are pretty easy to spend more in vip. Pretty respectful of the air dances on floor. Wouldn't suggest breaking those rules in vip considering there seems to be a chip on the cities shoulder and would like to shut them down. Still, I consistently made better money here than anywhere else in the US. No license required. Day shift staff are the nicest people you could imagine working with. Respectful, professional, and are good at their jobs. Night shift house mom is a jerk. Loves to trash talk dancers and complain about the atmosphere. Super cunt. Manager at night is shady. Anytime a customer paid via credit card he would skim off money himself and pocket this. He makes every shot girl cry. I don't know if any has worked there over a month. Stay away from them, and focus on customers and you will be fine and even excel. I give this club a high rating because the mix of dancers is great. Every color and shape. Customers are mix of tourists, businessmen, and regulars. People actually buy dances. People socialize, mix well, and buy vips. Some clubs dancers to mix and customers are weary of being hustled. This club is much more laid back and not killer hard to actually work and hustle to the degree thst you want to hustle the crowd. Never dead. Slow, maybe.

There is still money here, even in a bad economy. The potential is a little hit or miss though, and dependent on getting a VIP room. One night I will make aroud 2-300 and the next $700. It is very unpredictable, but over the course of 4 shifts it pans out to be good. I consider an average of 4-500 per shift good enough in this economy, and there is very little drama. The license is now I believe $300

I loved working in this Club. I will always be an Oasis Girl!! Unfortunately, a disagreement with a newer manager caused me to leave the club but the Club is a great place to work. If you are looking to make money this is where its at. Nice local clientel, club is located in Dunwoody, the upscale parts of Atlanta. Dances are $10 on the floor and $20 on the tables. Average VIP per 30 mins. is $175-225. Lots of Business men that dont mind spending the money. Take note that if you are looking to make friends with other dancers this would not be the club for you ALL the dancers are nice in passing but are FOCUSED on making money. VERY COMPETATIVE!! You want to be an "A" Girl in this club. Beware of the House Mom she is a very bitter woman to say the least. This club is permitted by Dekalb County and is fairly easy to obtain. $215 per year. Drivers lic. and birth certificate needed. The club will generally let you work one night to make the money need to cover your permit. I dont know too much about day house girls and the money they make I was a night girl and on a Friday night walked out with anywhere btw. $800-1100. Shift begins at 8pm and ends a 4am M-F and Sun., 3am on Sat. Tip out requirements are as follows: $5 - house moms (2) $5 - parking lot guy $varies - VIP Ushers ( tip good and they will always get you in vip first) $10 or 10% to DJ ( I always gave around $25-30) Money talks in this club. Want to leave early tip the house mom good!! P.S. Watch out for a manager with a Billy Ray Cyress hair cut he is a low down dirty dog and a scum bag to say the least. If you need to ask any questions just email me. I'll be glad to help you in anyway.
