So this was the first club I ever worked at and in a way it was a really good place to start because they teach all the BASICS of hustling and dancing! They hire pretty much anyone and they literally hold your hand on the way to your first stage set! Lmao!!! You deff can make money here but you will be working your ass off for chump change because management pretty much takes half of all your lapdance money! Plus you have to pay $40 mandatory tip out before you start each shift and a $3 minimum tip out to the dj at the end. They also require you to get a minimum of 5 preview champagne rooms (5 for 60 dance in semi pvt room) and you only get to keep 25 fucking dollars out of a 60 dollar dance wtf?!?!? At first they give you these “refunds” at the end of the night from all the previews you did and you get some money back from that but after your back balance runs out or if you miss a shift that stops! Then they have the nerve to say that you owe them money at the end of the night! You also owe if you don’t get all the 5 previews!! Then they have a million stupid rules and fines for everything like you actually are supposed to clock in and out at the punch clock even though your an independent contractor who gets no hourly wage... Everytime you go to the dance area to do a dance you scan your fingerprint in and out.. weird!!! You have to work a minimum of 4 days a week 6hr shift but if you are new for the first 30 days it’s 8-9 hr shifts 4 days a week or you get fined up the ass!!! Also there are no lockers in either dressing room and there are cameras which I’m pretty sure the owner jacks off to! The bouncers are trained to be very strict and often time throw costumers out who are spending money if they accidentally slip up and touch ass or tits at all.. there are cameras literally everywhere which can be good and bad because the bouncers act like police some of them actually are cops or used to be and it feels like they are totally up your ass the whole dance watching every move... unless it’s the weekend and it’s really busy. Overall most of the other dancers are pretty new to the industry and all though there is drama everywhere, here most girls seemed a lot more chill and easy going than at other clubs. A lot of the dancers also have day jobs and are just doing this for the extra money or because they always wanted to and realized it was now or never lol. Most costumers are pretty cheap but there are some big spenders, especially when they get drunk. This is a strict topless club, but there is no nudity of any kind on stage or the floor only in pvt dance and even then you still have to wear this stupid teaser top underneath your regular top and 2 thongs or a thong and booty shorts over at all time! They usually play very out dated music and you tell the dj the genre you like, they only play the clean version of songs though. You can make decent money here but if you have been in the industry for years don’t even bother with it! The owner is a slave driver.. but despite all that if you are brand new and never danced before it’s a good way to break in to the industry and build up your stamina, you see the good and the bad parts of it! Also it’s a Chicago Classic and right now it’s the only one of this prick’s stripclubs that is still open!

I had heard in a stripper FB group that Heavenly Bodies was an extremely safe club with great management, so I decided to try it out when I went to Chicago. Though staff was professional and nice, I regret this descision and feel that I would have made more money elsewhere. . PROS -great club to start dancing at. They do extensive training for everyone (even though I told them I've been in the biz for 5 years). I watched a video on how to accept tips and how to do a lapdance lol. That was funny, but honestly I think it would be helpful for a newbie -very safe. cameras in all of the rooms. custies are not supposed to touch. The bouncer at the front desk will give the phone in the room a call if the custie is touching you too much and will give them a warning. If they continue, they'll end the dance. Very strict -cheap drinks. They had $1.50 beers for customers, which kept them very happy. -High customer volume on fridays and saturdays in June, when I went. -Management is adamant about not taking tips from dancers. I thought this was very professional, but does not make up for the other ways they take ya cash . CONS -You have to have a garter (which you can buy there) and this burlesque-like bralette cage that is basically a bikini that shows your tits (which you can buy there too). You absolutely have to be wearing this at all times. -Management will micro-manage you and house moms will chase you out of the dressing room -They expect you to work the hours that you've given them ahead of time and they want to schedule you like 4 weeks in advance once you get hired and want you to work like 3 or 4 days a week at least. -My biggest beef with HB was that they force their dancers to charge DIRT CHEAP dance prices and then take half of it. So 2 dances with the customer in a tiny chair for $25, dancer gets $15. 5 dances in a booth for $60 and the dancer gets $30- which is fucking bullshit. The industry average for a lapdance is $20 to the dancer. I felt personally insulted by the low prices for so much work. I was charging $40 for 2 dances (which is wayyyy less than I usually charge, a customer complained to management, and I got a slap on the wrist for charging too much. They insisted that I go with their prices even though (I did a lot of research afterwards) it is illegal to mandate prices of services for independent contractors. Their hour-long room is $300. You can charge "a little more" for that, according to management, but they care way more about the customer than you. So basically this club is obsessed with being cheap. Cheap beer, cheap dances, and it is all at the expense of the dancer. These savings to the customer come out of your pocket bc the house is taking 40-50% of all your earnings in addition to their house fee. They also make you pay more money when you do the 5 for $60 dance deal and tell you you'll get it back at the end of the night. When you check out, you'll get a slip that says how much money you get back and you have to go wait in line to get it. I think this is a tactic to keep the girls happy and not think too much about how much money the club is taking from them. So yeah I wouldn't bother working here. I made $400-800/night. Though I talked to a girl in the dressing room who made $1,000 one night we worked together. It's possible to do well, but you'll have to do a LOT more work for it and be good at hustling for tips. There were a lot of cheap people who didn't tip me for the 5 song deal, which made me die inside bc that was $30 for like $15 mins of my time. I'd be charging $150 or more for that anywhere else.

This was my first club, and if I knew then what I knew now, I would have never worked a night there. First off, the club is depressing to look at. There are hardly any lights, the stages are bare bones, and the VIP rooms are dingy, dark and stained. There are potholes in the floor that make walking around in our pleasers VERY difficult. I stumbled quite a few times, just because of the uneven flooring. The dressing rooms are damp, dirty and cold. There are no lockers for your belongings and barely enough room for the girls to even sit down and get dressed. The management is just as bad as the physical club. The owner is a notorious scumbag. The house moms are bitter, unfriendly and spend half their time chasing girls out of the dressing room into an empty club. The bouncers were creepy as well, constantly hitting on me instead of trying to keep handsy customers at bay. The car service to-and-from the city is a bust too, as I had to wait over an hour to get picked up after a Saturday night shift because the driver forgot. In terms of house fees, I felt robbed. They easily took half my earnings every night. All in all, Heavenly Bodies is a terrible, deadbeat club and I advise all Chicago or traveling girls to stay away (and I was working during peak season, so I can only imagine it slower!)

There is a lot of money to be made here, however fees are very high. The club takes about half of your earnings every night and fines you for every little thing. Overall customers are pretty good. Day shift is an easy hustle. Usually businessmen on their lunch break. Always buy champagnes. At night time it's more of a hustle. A lot of girls working. A lot of young drunk guys. They will buy dances but take some convincing and usually only go for the 2 $25's. Also the girls can get catty on the night shift. I've done very well on both shifts, but liked days the best. It's easy money and customers are a little more respectful.

Dances are $10, house took practically half of everything I made. Youre not allowed to sit, you have to straddle customers' knees. I'm not kidding. Resting is discouraged as well. They shoo girls out of the dressing rooms often. Plus, there's about a million girls on every shift. Prices were ridiculous. 5/$50 (or $60 in vip), with 90% of customers not giving an additional tip. I did 22 dances and left with less than $200. Does that speak loud enough?

I'd like to say that free house on weekends is the biggest bs i've ever heard. I worked there recently & that wasn't the case. It will never be free house.

HB's is now offering free house to all entertainers on the weekends. They have also become more flexible on the schedules. Alot of the staff has changed. Everytime I am there it is consistently busy. Not the best looking decor. But it is in a phenomenal location.

I started at this club & used to make about $400 on a good night. It's VERY hard to make money here & it's pretty much gone to hell. Dayshift used to have about 7-10 girls. Now, there's about 30 for like 10 guys..you'd think it was a Saturday night. They keep hiring new girls which makes it hard for ANYONE to make money. Some of the management is understanding & sweet, but there is horrible communication amongst everyone. This club is a waste of time now. I'll work 9 hour shifts & EVERYTHING I make goes to the club. They have fees for everything. $190 for call offs, $400 for no call no shows, $40 tipout, $20 mini-shift fee, $25 late fee, $20 for not getting in the champagne room during your shift, $50 house or $150 flat house, $5 per dance. This is just to name a few. Now they have a cash register in the room & they take $10 from you every time to go into the VIP room. This makes it harder for you short house. They put it towards your fees at the end of the night. If you STILL have to short house, then the money you paid in VIP doesn't get put toward your dances. So you're screwed out of that money. Rip off. I've noticed that unless you look like you're 12, you won't make any money here. Kind of gross if you ask me. They have free food there too so A LOT of people will come in, eat & leave...without tipping or buying ANY dances. VERY frustrating. Guys RARELY stage tip ANYONE here. Customers are VERY resistant to let go of their money. They're sooo cheap.

This was my first club that I ever worked, and in the beginning it was a great place to work. But after your first week you are expected to be pulling at least 30 dances and champagne room visit...which would be easy if you already built a large number of regulars. Not to mention after I heard about other clubs a lot of things became obvious to me...HBs rips girls off big time. After the first week your fees also increase. Tip out is always $32 except at night, $28. Then at the end of the night you pay out $50 for house and then $5 per lap dance you do...I was paying out about $200 a night when I worked there, barely bringing home the advertised $500. If I made $500 one night I'd bring home $300 sometimes $200 depending on the fees they would charge. There are fees for everything...being late for stage $25 fee, not hugging/greeting guests appropriately $25 fee, not wearing your teaser top another $25 fee...the list goes on. For me, the $300 a night was more than enough, yet not enough for what I had to put up with. It's a full contact club as well. Being, that during the lap dance the customer can touch your waist, back, and legs. This created a helluva lot of problems because many customers "slip up" and grab a boob or butt cheek. And your risk of being grabbed was even higher upstairs in champagne because people expect more when they pay more despite that this club has zero tolerance for grabbing. Lots of people ended up getting kicked out, which also can ruin a dancer's reputation. But it's full contact...as advertised...dangers beware. The clientelle is mostly locals as HBs is surrounded by factories and other such businesses...also business men and travelers frequent the club. The air port is close by as well, which makes for decent weekends. However, the average customer comes in for the cheap beers and free food or they already have a regular girl...Also working nights is somewhat better because more people come in, yet the clientelle is the younger crowd who just come to look not dance. Not to mention on weekends there could be up to 100 girls hustling, which means not a lot of dances overall for anyone. You only make money off your dances at HBs. So either way, there isn't a lot of money to be made here especially after all the fees unless someone really likes you or you are one helluva hustler and can sell the peeling paint off your own mother's shack. There is a cath 22 about going to the champagne room as well. They make it seem like you're going to make more money if you take many people up there, however you make the same amount downstairs as you would upstairs after all the fees. Say my regular buys a $200 12 song special. I have to pay the bar $75 for a ticket upstairs, then those 12 dances are charged to me at the end of the night ($5 bucks each)...meaning I only get about $65 of the original $200! After I realized that I stopped trying to go upstairs more than once a night. If I did 12 topless dances downstairs I'd be getting about $120 take home. After December the business slumps horribly and I ended up barely bringing home $150 per night. The most I had ever brought home was $500 and that was my first week of working there when I was still new. The DJs are decent, management is basically the owner's yes women...they are not concerned about your wellfare, only the cash you bring in and ensuring that you consistantly bring in that cash. The owner is a greedy and unfair man in my opinion. He owns two other clubs that are full nude in Indiana that are run the same as HBs. If you don't do well at HBs you are reassigned to one of the two full nude clubs...you are also forced to be reassigned if you have too many call offs or if your back balance is too high. The feed back that I got from girls that worked the other two relative full nude clubs was always negative in experience. Even one of the cashiers told me they wouldn't even recommend dancing at one of the full nude clubs because it was just plain dirty. I once asked why there were so many fees and the reply was simply: "because micheal said so." Which to me is ridic! The atmosphere of HBs is much like a factory. The owner spends no money on maintenance and the smoking dressing room is horribly shabby with no door at all. The floor is cracked cement (which has caused many a twisted ankle)...the stages are also peeling and cracked in places, the poles are greasy...the champagne room is decent but definently not worth the $200 they charge to go up there. The entire place is a local dive... Also if you work at HBs you are not allowed to go to any other club in Illinois or Indiana. This also includes being a customer to any other strip club let alone dancing at another one. You will be fired if you are caught at any other club. They have bouncers stake out at other clubs to see if the girls are working other venues, etc. :P

even though the management SUCKED I am still dreaming about my years at this club :whistleblower:: -no talking and drinking with customers  -lap dance after lab dance after lab dance... (great workout!) - money was great and constant I wish I could go back. But don't expect nothing fancy, the club actually looks (looked?) like a factory. I have been looking for a club like this for 4 years, and this one is unique.

I went to HB's never having danced before. House fees are low in the beginning and then slowly increase until they become ridiculous. Lots of dancers come and then go after they've made some quick money. Management treated me pretty well, but if you call-off they give you a really hard time. Some DJ's are jerks, but songs are short and so it's easy to dance. It's a BIG workout. Pretty popular club- hard to make money if you don't work and if you're not pretty. Totally varies from day to day but a decent place to start.
