Additional Information
This is a very slow hustle club. You need to be able to sit and talk with the guy for at least a couple songs before you expect anything from him.
Stage tips are very good. It was originally almost a stage-only club, so the girls only dance for 30-60 seconds for each dollar put down. If you put on a good show and pick up your money fast, expect to come off stage with 20-30 dollars if there are guys in the club. Sets are either 15 or 20 minutes, and expect to go on stage every 1 or 1 1/2 hours, since there is a six girl max at night. There are poles, but are hidden in the back. No one uses them except upon request.
The guys either shell out on stage or buy dances. Dances are in a completely open corner of the club so the guys can be a bit put off by the lack of privacy but at the same time you don't need to be worried about other girls selling extras. Expect to sell 5-10 dances a night.
There is no DJ. You program your own music for your stage and keep track of your schedule. There are huge clocks everywhere, including one for the dancer on stage. The CD player skips and you'll find yourself running offstage to fix it. But you won't be putting up with asshole DJs or have to dance to their music, or listen to their commentary.
The other girls are mostly very welcoming. Once accepted, they're like family. There are rifts here and there, but in a club so small there didn't seem to be any room for drama.
Don't work here if you use drugs. You will get fired. There are dancers here who are recovering from addictions and cannot be around drugs. The manager would rather let go of 5 new dancers before watching a recovered house girl to slip back into the habit. The manager is also very strict about underage girls drinking.
I usually walked with $200-300 after tip-out. $400 was considered a miracle. But it was worth not putting up with drugs, extras, and drama. The managers are the best I've ever worked with, especially the house mom (retired dancer, now bartender/manager). I moved away, but I'd go back if I moved back to Massachusetts.
