Additional Information
This was one of the WORST clubs I've ever worked for! First off, I will tell anyone that I don't go around claiming that I'm extremely "hot", but at this place I was compared to most of the girls that worked there. There were a few cute girls, but we often got bypassed by the nastier girls that were doing extras. The club is GROSS! Especially the VIP area. It's basically like cubicles and there's NO privacy really. A lot of the tables and chairs for customers are broken and nasty. The owner doesn't really put money into the place.
The fees are OUTRAGEOUS! It's $20 house fee. When I was last there they wanted it UP FRONT before your shift started. It was then minimum $10 to the DJ. You also had to pay $1 out of each of your dances to the DJ (for what I have NO CLUE!). What was taken out of the dances was outrageous! A dance was $25 and then the club took $10 of that. They also ran specials and of course took a lot of your money from those. They'd run 2 for $35 and you had to pay $15 out of that. They also had a 2 for $40 dance with merchandise and you'd pay $20 out of that. I can remember one night I made about $300-$400 and only took home about $180 because of the fees! My regular customers just started getting smart and gave me money outright so I didn't have to pay so much back to the club! I get yelled at once too about that! I was told that I actually had to take the customer back to the VIP and get the money! No thanks!
The Management was always on our case to sell dances. It was nearly impossible due to the clientele (mostly locals), nasty "extras" girls, or just because there was NO BUSINESS there! I remember quite a few nights where dancers would nap in the VIP and we'd have the DJ wake us up when customers came in.
Most clubs I've worked in would allow the dancers to have at least free pop, water or coffee while on shift. Nope! The owner INSISTED that we pay for the "bottomless" drink. We'd bring in our own pop or water and then of course get bitched at for doing that...said we were taking money from the club.
All in all not the nicest club to work at. The only good thing I can say is most of the girls are pretty nice. Met one of my best friends working there!
