Additional Information
I used to work in Battle Creek, and wasn't happy with the lack of stage money, and therefore the lack of VIP money, so wanted to try out Jackson. I have friends who worked at Potter's so I tried to get an audition there, but communication between management made it almost impossible to figure out when to audition and who to talk to. Potter's told me to come in at 11PM to talk to the owner, but it's Jackson, and I wasn't going to dick around until 11, so decided to try Cracker Jaxx, and Cracker Jaxx turned out to be a very well managed dive bar. The only problem is they don't have eyes in the sky.
At Cracker Jaxx, you can freelance for a charge of $30/night, or you can be put on schedule. If you are the kind of girl who calls in a lot or does not show up for shifts, you will not do well here, because there's a fee of $200 for not showing up for a shift, $20 for being late, $50 for being an hour late, and $75 for being 2 hours late. Personally, I had to pay $75 once, but I didn't care because if I didn't have to pay it, I would have felt guilty and not made money. Otherwise the house fee is $0 (zero).
The earning potential is great here. It was not uncommon to make $300-$400+/shift, whether day shift or night shift. Literally every Friday and Saturday I would work a double, and I never left with less than $400 working a double. Really though, I tried to make $500+ (or $600 or $700) every Friday and Saturday and usually did, so I was making $1000+ just on Fridays and Saturdays alone here, every single weekend, plus whatever money I made the other 2 days I worked. Tipout to the DJ is $10, but I always gave him $20. I worked there for about 4 1/2 months, and the most I made was between $700-$800, but there are girls there who have made $1100 in a night before (for 5 hours of their time), and I know for a fact the girl who made that is one of the cleanest dancers I know. She's just a hustler, like me.
The DJ does a good job in terms of music and being cool with the girls, but for some reason he doesn't wear black dress pants and a black button up shirt (& a black suit jacket) (business casual/business professional) like every other DJ in the business. He would make better tips from the customers (and the dancers for that matter) if he did.
Gerry is a hard ass, but if you can manage to show up when you are supposed to, and mind your own business, you will do really, really well here.
Also, the first month I worked here I made $1600 in stage tips alone. The stage is one of my favorites I have ever danced on. It's simple, but awesome.
Also, you get to keep the entire $20 for dances. They have champagne rooms (3 downstairs and 1 upstairs) too, and you can make your own price, but it costs $30 to rent the room, and they will never ever try to double charge you $60 if there are 2 girls... it's always just $30 to rent the room. Most girls charge $150 for 1/2 hour in the champagne rooms downstairs (per girl, obviously), or $200 for a half hour in the room upstairs.
Also, I always gave clean dances... just putting that out there, since they don't have eyes in the sky. Integrity is key.
Sorry for writing a review about Cracker Jaxx on Potter's page, but most customers seem to like Cracker Jaxx better.
