I heard this place used to be good years ago, but I'm not sure if it still is anymore. If anything it got really dirty. I stopped by for one night and it was not a good experience. The housemom working at the time was rude and the manager was so-so, I got some shady vibes from him. There are two floors in this club, the main floor with the stage and a second floor downstairs where the champagne rooms are. The manager told me point blank that the customers will want sex down there, most of the girls working at the club are doing extras down there, and that there are no cameras down there. I'm not sure what to believe about the cameras because I was told that there were, but maybe they're not functional cameras. I don't remember the fees, but selling lapdances doesn't look easy. The first lapdance costs $40, $20 of that goes to the house and then repeat lapdances after that are $20. Some of the regular customers seem used to this, but I ran into a customer who complained about $40 for one dance, especially if he can go to another club and get the same thing for $20, so I imagine it can be hard to stack dances or upsell. I don't remember the fees or scheduling requirements, but if you're a clean dancer I really don't recommend wasting your time to visit or work at this club when there are better clubs in the area.

I worked here about 5 months and was very split down the middle love/hate. Awesome house mom Angie, but she's at Riviera now I hear. Henry, the manager could be a dick and I basically quit/semi got fired cause he was power tripping and pulling my shifts (like he let me show up to work then told me to leave TWICE); like another dancer who was black said, he gave white and black girls shitty treatment over the spanish girls. Girls were largely friendly and I had fun with them, they had senses of humor, weren't all russian like Gallaghers and were pretty down to earth. I'm sure the new house mom keeps a lotta stuff too, they had TONS of dresses, snacks, accessories, scents and everything you could possibly need stocked and there was decent space in the dressing room. Also, full kitchen with yummy food, no discount. I liked working there cause they played music I enjoyed; lotsa reggaeton, rap, urban in general. It's a good racial mix of dancers; a few E. Europeans, more blacks than other clubs, tons of hispanics. Customers varied a lot, but this place was not NEARLY "white collar" enough, save a few biz men en route home to long island and post mets game types. Mostly my friends wouldn't venture away from Manhattan to visit me, even though it's just barely across the literal and figurative bridge from Sapphire. THIS IS MY BIG WARNING ON SCANDALS; Sex goes on downstairs, my first night some drunk guy after 3am took me down and had his dick and coke out within 30 seconds, it was jarring to say the least. I know for fact people fuck down there, you can take guys down and just chat etc, which I did a few times, but expect to hustle lap dances, and expect guys who expect sex and extras like a nip suck. It gets sleazy, but can also be fun. Since so many customers are dealers, they are relatively young and like girls who have fun dancing, put on a show and are the life of the party, not too cool for school types. Customers are largely "hood money" tons of dealers who want you sampling their product, so be careful regarding the VIP and shady customers, it gets busy late and it's sluggish as shit before midnight. It's an OK club to break in and find your game, but not the best long term option to make max bank.

Fees are from $20-$60 depending on the day of the week. I think t/o for the DJ is $15, Housemom is $10. but not completely sure. LD's are $20 and there are drink comissions. what you wear depends on the day. The bouncers seemed pretty cool and helpful--that was a plus. Housemom was cool as well. The other dancers pretty much ignored me, except for the occasional "hablas espanol?" as most of them dont speak english. The club was very Brazilian & Columbian heavy. Almost no white/black/asian dancers. The manager in my opinion had no social skills with a Napoleon Complex, while he was not particularly rude to me, I could tell that he enjoyed bossing women around. There is 1 main stage (the kind that you come up to customers at the bar for tips) which was beautifully lit with pink lights and two satellite stages that are in the bottle service areas. They arent lit and you feel like furniture there because the chairs are faced toward the stage or towards the back wall. The club is very tastefully decorated--modern without too much flash. The CR was located downstairs, but I didnt get a chance to see it. The customers were ok, i was there on a wednesday and it was slow. You really had to pull teeth to get them to buy dances. When I did get some, you have to wait in the LD area for a bouncer, the customer pays him and the bouncer gives you a dance ticket (which made no sense to me b/c they dont take any money) which you exchange at the end of the night. I guess I came on the wrong day, but I didnt feel comfortable there--i didnt fit in with the "culture" of the club. But it probably is a great place for the right dancer, esp if your are hispanic.

I'm getting my Dial-A-Stripper service up and running again. If you are in NYC or NJ and are interested in private party dancing, email [email protected] with your SW handle, contact info, photo (if you have one) & best time to call and I'll get back to you asap.

If you're having a party and need strippers, email me with the details and any questions you have. Thanks!
