Additional Information
I've heard the stories of what the Flame used to be like, but it seems that they got bought somewhere in 2006, and the new management is awesome. It's one of the stricter clubs I've worked in, contact-wise, and the easiest place to deal with bookings I've ever seen.
The only rules about bookings are that you have to work a certain amount of shifts during the week to be allowed to work a Friday or a Saturday night shift, and a shift is 6 hours. Otherwise, show up when you want.
The DJs are great, friendly guys, who will work with you on music choices. The club is small, and only has one stage, so it's pretty much dancers' choice.
Even with tipping out everyone in the club (there's a minimum tipout for all the male staff, even the managers), I spent less to work there than I have at any other club I've worked at. (I should add here that this IS the only AZ club I have worked.)
The customers are a mix of locals and snowbirds; most will at least buy you a drink, and it's not difficult to get table dances ($10), although most local guys have to particularly like you to be convinced to go for a couch dance ($20).
I never really banked here, but my bills were paid, I had fun, nothing traumatic happened, and I was able to save up enough money to get ot the next stop in my travels and have a bit left over, on 3 short shifts a week.
