Additional Information
I've been working here for quite a while. I love it here, it's like home to me. The money here is hit or miss-it can be really good but when it's slow the money is REALLY bad (I'm talking under $100 for an 11 hour shift). But for the most part it's decent.
The manager's name is Vicki and she is great. She's very nice and easy to talk to. She bartends there sometimes too.
They usually have 7-8 girls dancing here during the week and around 10 on Friday and Saturday nights. You do 3 song sets on stage when there are 10 girls or fewer here, and you do 2 song sets when there is more than 10 girls and when the club is busy enough. You start dancing once there are 3 customers in the club, and you pay the DJ $2 for each set you do on stage. Tipping the DJ's is optional here-they have one DJ during the day and one at night. I usually give each of them $5-more if I have a really good night.
The shifts are horribly long. 11 hour shifts-you must work 3 pm until 2 am, 2:30 am on Friday and Saturday nights. Long hours seem to be pretty typical in Wisconsin clubs.
About the other dancers-some of them are really nice, of course there's always one or two jealous bitches who will talk shit about you in the dressing room if you're making more money than them, but of course you'll find that in any club.
Couch dances are $20 and take place in a separate room with 3 different couches. The dancer keeps $15, the club keeps $5. The customer can't touch you, but you may grind on them, put your boobs in their face, etc. The couch dance room has cameras in it and the DJ monitors the cameras to make sure that no funny business goes on.
The stage is small and kind of sucks-it's a weird setup and the stage is actually in the middle of the bar, you have to walk behind the bar to get on stage. Guys don't tip on stage very much here, but you do a tip walk after your stage set and approach every customer for a tip. Almost all guys will tip you on your tip walk. Well, except for Saturday nights, sometimes you get the cheap young assholes in there then. LOL
You get $2 for every drink or shot you sell. If you sell a small bottle of champagne, you get $6. You get $9 if you sell a large bottle of champagne. There are a lot of regular customers who come in here and will buy you drinks but don't like to get dances. If you sell over 100 drinks for the week, you get a $25 bonus.
You get a ticket for every couch dance you do, and you must hold on to the tickets. You get paid for your drinks and dances at the end of your booking. This is to ensure that you don't walk out in the middle of the week frustrated because it's a slow week. LOL
They have rooms for out of town dancers to stay right upstairs from the bar. They charge you $15 per night to stay upstairs. They have beds, a shower, a TV, a fridge and a microwave. It's not fancy upstairs at all, but it's livable. Cheaper than getting a hotel room.
They now have a new rule where you must work a Sunday or Monday. If you don't work a Sunday or Monday, you only get paid $1 per drink and $10 per dance.
Most of the bartenders and DJ's are really cool and friendly and make work more enjoyable.
