Additional Information
The Blue Moon Lounge looks really scrungy from the outside until you get inside when you realize the perception is correct. A decent sized stage with a couple of poles, one of which is usually heavily used for pole work by dancers who know how. The stage is ringed by chairs, with the rest of the chairs lining the shadows against the walls for the non-tippers to hang out at. Dancers will go from guy to guy along the stage for $1's during the dance, some more aggressive at it than others. You get a good show there most of the time, but you're hard hit for $1's if you're the only one tipping. The club suffers from too many vacant-eyed "wannadancers", and sometimes not enough quality girls. The private dances are priced high ($40 per), but can occasionally be gotten at special rate for 2 for $30. Dances are high contact, usually just no touching the two delicate areas. Better to first get some $1 dances on the chairs against the wall to better judge with whom to spend the bigger dollars, YMMV of course.
