Additional Information
Worst place I have danced. I should note that I went there for the off season. I was told it's busier in the winter during snow mobile season and in the summer during finish season. I went mid-spring. There was about 20 girls working on a Thursday night and there was roughly 10 customers at most.
The manager JP is a creep. He knew I was new and tried to take advantage of that. He insisted that he show my friend and I what a lap dance was so we were clear on the rules of the club. We had both danced at multiple clubs before and this completely unnecessary. This was just basically a way for him to get us into his office with the door locked, so he could try to get us to give him a lap dance. He said it was okay if we touched a customers penis and tried to move my hands to touch his. Gross.
The club was really slow that night, likely because it was the off season, but even the customers who were there that night were getting 1-2 dances tops. I have never had so much trouble selling a dance. The stage shows were a bit strange as well. You had to do two dances and then have one song break and then do another song. Which meant that you were away from making money on the floor for four songs, instead of the usual three.
Sometimes they would also have one girl do two songs, another girl do one and then the first girl do a third song.
Other details about the club:
There's no shift pay. There is accommodation close by which is 20 bucks a night. I don't know what that is like because I stayed at a hotel. I was hired by calling the manager and then sending him a couple of photos of myself.
The fee was 20 bucks plus 5 bucks for the DJ. You had to be on the floor by 9pm and after that there was late fees.
The club is small, the lights are flattering and the stage is OK. The VIP rooms are small booths, which are very private but there's a button in there, which once pressed will bring the bartender over to see if you need a drink or need help.
