I worked here in the beginning of 2017. I traveled with a girl friend and another friend who used to be a manager of mine at a Rhino location and was helping restructure their management at blush. Maybe people were extra nice to me because I was with him and he was an acting manager, I don’t know, but everyone was very friendly. The stage is really cool with poles and hoops hooked up and a tip rail. Stage money wasn’t great, I probably averaged $30 per set. There is a dance area on the main floor to the far side. The dances are done in cubbie type areas. There is also a a 2nd floor bar and restaurant, there is a stage here that’s tiny and pretty much useless. I did have guys pay me to eat and hangout at this bar with them though. There are also private rooms for champagne rooms. These are bedroom sized rooms with couches/lounges, they have actual doors on the rooms. They do have cameras but I had a few men touch me and nothing was said or done about it so I don’t know how well they watch them. They do ask you to wear gowns or dresses and sell them there. I overall enjoyed this club quite a bit. I’m planning on returning.

Hiring Tips: make your schedule on days that the manager, Andy, does not work
Additional Information
I started working here in January 2013 because I was interested in working the day shift and this is the only club I'm aware of that opens at noon. My first day consisted of the house mom telling me that I could not wear any of the outfits that I brought or my heels. She also told me that I was not wearing enough make-up. This club wants your make-up caked on so you basically end up looking like a clown. They have a strict dress code here and want all of the girls to look the same. They sell many gowns and dresses here, but most of them do not even follow their dress code. I bought a gown here once and asked the owner, Albert, if it was considered a gown because I was not going to purchase it if it wasn't. He told me that it was a gown and acceptable to wear. The next time I worked, I proceeded to wear the gown to work that I had purchased from the owner. The house mom and lap dance manager, Andy, told me that I could not wear it because it wasn't "considered a gown," since the front of the dress was tapered in the front and did not touch the floor like the back of the dress did. Now on to the atmosphere of the club. This club is a dump! The dressing room is tiny, cluttered, and absolutely filthy. The stage looks like a make-shift stage with poles that you can barely do tricks on because you will hit the stage lights with your heels. The floor of the stage has metal connectors sticking up which constantly cause girls to trip or stub their toe. I've seen many girls walk off stage with a bleeding toe because of the floor. Monday-Friday from 12-2, the club offers a free buffet. The food is catered so it isn't too bad, but it attracts homeless people and cheapskate customers who want to come and eat free food without spending any money on the girls. These guys buy bottled water and get free food and entertainment. The homeless people and cheapskates give the club an unwelcoming vibe and hold back more affluent customers from coming in. So you end up having to wait until after 2 pm for normal paying customers to come in the club. The lap dance area is terribly uncomfortable. The seats have horrendous leopard print material that looks like it is 100 years old. They creak when you dance on them which is extremely awkward for the customer. The upstairs champagne rooms are a joke. The couches are so old and uncomfortable and if you work during the day, expect the champagne rooms to be brightly lit because of the windows. This completely ruins the dark, sultry mood that you want while spending time with your customer. Lastly, the owner and management are a bunch of rude, unprofessional pricks. I worked the day shift with the manager, Andy, who would constantly mess up the number of dances that I did. He tells the girls that they are ditzes and cannot keep count of how many dances they do. He roams around the club or takes smoking breaks while you're dancing with your customer and never pays attention to when you close the curtain to start your dances. This is why he never knows the amount of dances you do on top of he is an unintelligent dumb ass with a low IQ. Several times, he told me that I did four dances when I only did 3 after the customer already paid me for 3 dances and left the club. He accused me of lying and said that he couldn't trust me. Then you have to end up paying the club for 4 dances when you were only paid for three by your customer. Now on to the "Blush bucks" or funny money. Do not count on getting your funny money exchanged for cash at the end of your shift. The office will tell you that they do not have enough cash to give you and that you need to put the funny money in an envelope and get it cashed out next time you work. The management charges you 10% for everyday that you do not exchange your funny money even though it's their fault they do not have enough cash to give you in the first place. Several girls have told me that management took more than 10% out of their envelope per day and basically stole their money, and some have stated that it took them weeks to cash in their funny money. The management here is very dishonest and try to cheat girls out of their money. Overall, I recommend that you do not work here. This club has a very unpleasant work environment. The managers exploit their strippers and scam them of their money with their unethical behavior. If you're looking for a club to work at in Pittsburgh, try Cheerleaders or Penthouse. These clubs have a beautiful atmosphere while offering a professional and honest working environment.

Additional Information
Blush is the most micro-managing money hungry club i have EVER worked at… and i i currently work at 3 deja vu owned clubs, to shed some light on this perspective. Also, pittsburgh is the worst city that i have ever worked in. -------------------- Ok, the positives. if you do have the misfortune of working in pittsburgh, Blush is the money making club. A lot of girls bank here. there is a very high earning potential. However, IMO, it takes a certain attitude and a high level of patience to reach this potential-- i didn't; i made more money in clubs with lower earning potentials. The club is more consistently packed than pretty much any club i have ever seen. its a small club, in an old hotel.--------------------- It is nude, the dances are two way contact (no kitty touching allowed obviously). on stage, you are up for 3 songs, first clothed, second topless, 3rd mandatory nude. you share the stage with another girl. then one of the two girls is sent to the cage stage on the side for another 3. you will make good money on stage here, but it sucks sharing it with another girl… a lot of girls are not very creative in their dance moves and the entire stage set is spread eagle pussy shots.. nothing wrong with showing a little puss, but its nice to use a bit of variety. and if you are sharing the stage with a dancer who is raunchier than some (some girls are raunchy) then some customers will get saucy when you don't offer the same services from the stage. honestly, just tell the customers they are at the tip rail and are obligated to tip each song, they will grudgingly tip you. when they didn't i would just move away and put my hand over my lady bits and my other arm over my boobs and basically make sure they didn't see anything fun. expect 15-100 dollars per stage set.------------------- Dances are 25$, you keep 15. they are very easy to sell. They are nude, although management wont make you go nude if you don't want to. customers are allowed to touch you, although not the kitty. Pittsburgh customers are horribly grippy and are rude. Oh, and they smell bad. Blush is a teeny club, and steelers fans load up on cheap beer at the game, then have no reservations about farting in the tiny crowded club. its gross. And the farting is not the worst part, expect them to be mentally rude. and expect to swat a lot of hands away from your pussy. ugh. i honestly hated it here, if you read through my posts during this time, i was at my grumpiest. ---------------- VIP rooms: wow what a RIPOFF (for you). half hr is 175, you keep 90. But wait! Your customer decides to pay credit! Your customer pays 192.50 and you keep 81$, the DJ keeps 5, meaning the club keeps 106.50$. So yea, Blush thinks they deserve more than half on an already underpriced room for YOUR nude entertainment, and YOUR sales work, and your tolerance of bullshit. The hour is 350, you keep 180. They don't help you make your sales. The VIP rooms are in the old hotel rooms, there is a cheap little CD player in them from the 90s with a cd, the CD players are sometimes belligerent and you will have to toggle with it a bit to make it work. Also, i initially thought the club was completely clean. Then i found out there are no cameras in the room, so i am reassessing this thought. You have to keep the hotel room doors 12 inches open. Now, on the second floor, the vip host is within ear shot. However, when the second floor fills up they put you on the 3rd floor. And there is basically nobody up there to watch out for your safety. and no cameras. ----------------------- the house moms are bitchy, with some being downright cunts. one of them was alright i guess. The DR is on the second floor, you cannot hear the dj from here so you don't know when you are on stage. Before your first song the DJ is supposed to call the house mom to tell her to warn you, sometimes he doesn't. Which brings me to another point, the dj is shitty and pretty much refused to play my music… if you dance to alternative stuff you are pretty much SOL… also he often forgot my name. So yea, the dj will often not even call the house mom before your first set, and then after you are supposed to be on stage he will call and be like "so and so is already supposed to be on stage." then you get to run down the stairs in your heels to make it on stage for a rude crowd of people and dance to music that you don't like. FUNNNNN. There are two bathrooms in the dressing room, bot with half doors and you have to ask permission to use the back bathroom. Blush treats you like children and assumes that if they give you an inch of privacy, you will take a mile and do a lot of blow off the toilet seat. so yea, expect this type of treatment from the management. also, regardless of the situation downstairs or your mood, you are not allowed to hang out in the dressing room. ---------------- So yea, i think blush really needs to review the legal definitions of independent contractor. this club seems to have no understanding of the difference between an independent contractor and an employee. oh, except for the fact that they can charge Independent contractors a house fee. they understand that part really well. but the other parts, i.e. we can entertain as we want, we don't HAVE to work while we are there since they cant tell use how to work, etc. they are pretty confused on.------------------ The girls are really nice. a lot are a trainwreck though, i saw lots of crying when i worked here. i think this is largely due to the asshole, sexual assault-y customers and disrespectful management. -------------------- Oh yea, blush bucks (funny moony)-- don't count on getting your money back in the near future! At the end of the night, you go to the office to cash these in, and they have a certain amount of cash they will give out and after it runs out you are SOL. you have the option of then leaving your blush bucks in an envelope and trusting it with the management or trying your luck the next time you work. I have heard horror stories from the girls about management dipping into their bush bucks when left overnight… who knows if this is true. i have also heard horror stories from girls who kept coming back to get their blush bucks cashed in, and it took them like 3 weeks to get it done. The girls tend to rack up a lot of them, and management doesn't give a fuck whether they get cashed in a timely fashion.------------------- Man i fucking hated this club.

The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

The fees are high at this club, but there is decent money making potential. Fees: $20 house, an additional 10 for every hour you are late, you are not permitted to work if you arrive after 2pm dayshift or 9pm nightshift. *You get your housefee back if you do at least 1.5hrs in champagne rooms or enough consecutive dances that adds up to that. The split is 60/40, with the dancer getting 60, but you have to factor in the fees & tipouts. Tipouts: $3/front desk $10/housemom $10/dj $5/floor manager Individual lapdances are done in the VIP area downstairs. The rooms are private booths with a curtain. There are cameras and the dj is *supposed* to keep watch. $25 dances - $10 to the house, you keep $15. Most customers do tip though. $60/2 dances--etc. After 7 consecutive dances, an additional $5/song goes to the dj. The rooms are new and upstairs, you have to do at least a half an hour. They're nice, large rooms. $120/20min room - I forget the split on this, I don't usually do them--they're done downstairs but it's easier to just do dances $175 /30min room - $80/ house, $5/dj, you keep $90 $310/60min room - $120/house, $10/dj, you keep $180 There's a schedule here, and you have to make the schedule for the upcoming week on Thursdays. You either call or meet with the owner in the office. The owner is pretty temperamental, but as long as you don't call off all the time on your shifts and generally stay out of his way he can be pleasant (for him anyway). It's required that you work at least one dayshift per week. Dayshifts are generally pointless, although you can get lucky sometimes (usually during happy hour from 4-6). They have a catering service for lunch from 12-2 and it's usually just guys on their lunch break enjoying free food and naked women for free. The bar takes up most of this tiny club and a lot of times they'll sit and watch for free, but if you chat with them before you go on stage they'll come up and tip you. Usually there are a lot of old regulars on the dayshift--guys who have been going there since before I was born. There are some dancers there who have a stock of regulars who they bring in during the dayshift. Don't expect this as a newbie, however, unless you have regulars who you can bring in from another club. Funny money is taxed the standard 10% They have features almost every week. The weekends are generally pretty good here, and it gets fairly crowded. Many of the guys are business travelers from downtown with money to spend, mixed with locals. There's a nice, safe, well lit parking garage directly across the street. It's $9.75 to park during the day, and $5 at night. There's also taxi services outside, not sure how much they cost though. As far as dances go, most guys expect a little touching, and most are happy with just that--with the extent being slight boob touching. Girls will get fired for being fingered here. It's a pretty clean club, although with the new addition of the champagne rooms upstairs a lot of guys seem to think anything and everything is being offered--and it's not. On busy nights it's just better to hustle dances anyway.

I worked at this club for about a year. The management is relatively friendly and easy to get along with. The money-making potential is somewhat poor. Many of the girls are willing to do extra favors for more money, so if you are not into prostitution, this isn't the place for you. You make little money onstage, since the bar is placed directly in front of it, and a majority of the customers will drink and watch for free.
