Additional Information
I was here all of twice. I was impressed with some of the management and very unimpressed with a bouncer who acted like a pimp daddy. Not my thing at all. The first time, I was there to try out, and got a guy to buy a private dance after my audition -- which he then walked out on, and then tried to get half his money back, due to a linguistic misunderstanding (he spoke about five words of English and thought I was trying to cheat him.) A bouncer insisted I give it to him. I told the manager on duty about this when he asked how I liked the club, and the manager went and berated the bouncer, but I didn't get my money back. It was a night shift, and it was really loud. Some people were definitely there to buy private dances, but the club was full of girls and nobody was really tipping on stages, and the level of noise meant I couldn't really talk to the customers.
I came back on a day shift. Nobody was buying dances, and I found out why -- the dance room was closed (they hadn't told me it was closed in the day, when they hired me! And they gave me a pretty extensive rundown otherwise.) I talked to every single customer in that club. They all just wanted to play video fucking poker and watch football, except for a few of them, who wanted to play video poker and watch football and lead the girls on. Gee whiz. Here I thought it would be better than my main club, which is a neighborhood bar popularly notorious for lacking dance-buyers! I saw only one girl sell dances at all in the three hours I was there. Halfway through my shift, I fell off the stage steps and sprained my foot. (My shoes just weren't working for me -- not their fault.) I hadn't even made my $30 tip-out, so they said I could not bother to pay, and call back later and negotiate. I didn't call back. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth (and I couldn't work for a month!)
I have no doubt that someone hustling hard and working nights could pull dances from the crowd, but by and large that crowd seemed rude and unfriendly and I don't want to deal with them again, nor the fees for what seem chancy odds at best.
