Now Just Enuff Cabaret.
My friend put this very eloquently after hanging out before taking me home one night: management wants it to be a gentlemens club, but its always going to be a titty bar. This club is located next to corn fields on a long boring road with lots of closed businesses in between two ghetto towns. I understand why they want to keep the ghetto out, but if you keep the ghetto out, you won't have any patrons.
I dont have a business degree, so I cant speak authoritatively on that subject. But it's an issue i have.
The girls can be a little much. Some of them will tell their regulars not to tip you if they don't like you. But a lot of them are really sweet.
Customer breakdown: during the day its mostly older white guys just rolling through. Some Mexicans who got off early with a 50 percent chance of molestation and no money. At night theres a lot of young kids and thug life, along with a 75 percent chance of molestation by the Mexicans.
Day shifts I make about 100 weekdays, 200 weekends. My night numbers are similar, maybe plus about 5p bucks, but I've always done better during day shifts. I'd say 150 on a weeknight and 300 on a weekend would be typical, but I'm not 100 percent.
Ive never heard of anyone making more than 500 in a night.
Management is really cool. The GM is a woman, and she's a former bartender. You only pay a 5 dollar DJ fee. Lapdances are 20 (keep 14) vips are 30 (keep 19) 15 minute champagnes are 90 (49-you tip out 1 dollar per dance, is what these weird numbers are) and the rates on that dont change. You will never go home owing the club money. If its slow the manager will hang out and comp us drinks.
Lapdances are on big couches with no arms that are easy to maneuver on. Vips and champagnes are done on plushy leather couches that are harder to maneuver on.
This is a nice, relaxed place to work that I really enjoy most days, but if you're looking to make a stack every weekend, move on.
