Additional Information
I worked in this club for an hour before I walked out.

This was several years ago and in my neitivity I decided to try out here. I didn't know anything about the repuation of Market St. until this night. I had danced breifly on Broadway at a little hole in the wall called 'Cazbah' ( which has since been torn down and been rebuilt into a bar), and I wanted to see what else San Francisco had to offer.

After I walked in, the manager had me come into the office, closed the door, and asked me to take my clothes off right there. Regardless of me being neive I realized that this wasn't cosher and told him that the senerio seemed a bit strange to me and "shouldn't I be trying out on stage"? He agreed and directed me to the back of the club where there was an unlit second stage in an empty room. As I danced around, a girl who already was working there walked in to talk to management. At which point the manager instructed her to go onto the stage with me and suggested we have a girl on girl show. Yeah right!? I weasled my way out of that one and somehow got hired anyway.
The manager gave me the tour of the dance rooms ( which came complete with locking doors, a panic button, fogging windows, an oddly large 'sitting/dance' area, and a paper towel dispenser). Ok ok I should have known, but my benefit of the doubt policy was a bit overboard when I was younger. So I stuck around and decided to get to work. The place was eerily empty and had an odd vibe. I sat around and tried to case the place for a bit during which time I noticed that none of the girls could dance to save their lives. Also the only guy I saw tipping was tipping with change... also odd. Whithin my hour there, three guys said they wanted dances. All of them looked at me very confused and disappointed when they found out that they weren't getting even as much as a hand job. Each ended in the guy leaving before the dance even started or and money was even exchanged. In my dissapointment and frustration I went upstairs to the dressing room to have a cigarette. While I was up there I saw a girl takling to a girl who was using Listerine. She said to the girl "Oh My God!! It's SO GOOD you rinse your mouth out afterwards!!". EWWWWWWW!!!! Ok Ok No more benefit of the doubt. I was done! I packed my bag and left.

If you want to whore yourself for money this is your place. If you are looking to just dance stay the hell away from this place!
