Additional Information
The Mardi Gras is a 2 floor club attached to an expensive steakhouse and located right in the middle of downtown Springfield. The club is open 7 days a week from noon til 2am, and has 2 shifts, noon-6 & 6-close. Fees per shift are $40 total. ($30 to club & $10 to DJ). A guy named Vinnie is in charge of hiring new dancers. You can contact him at 413-272-9590, they don't do auditions here, they just have you text a couple photos of yourself. Basically you can have tattoos and crazy hair, even be a little on the curvier side, as long as you have a flat stomach (think Kim Kardashian), most of the girls that dance here are white by the way. On your first night you will fill out some paperwork including a W2 tax form, bc dancers here actually get paid an hourly wage! ($2.15 an hr, same as the shot girls & bartenders) The club has one of the largest and nicest dressing rooms I've come across, great lighting, lots of space and full length mirrors. There are no outfit rules, and while it is technically a nude club, the club leaves it up to you if you wish to dance nude or not, and the majority of girls choose not to. The club runs about 25-30 girls during the week, and around 50 on weekends. Many girls from surrounding cities come up to work Fri & Sat, and the club provides rooms you can stay in for small fee. The club has one large main stage with 2 poles, that is also the bar, be careful not to spill customers drinks! Depending on what time you hit the floor the DJ will assign you to be on stage either on the hour, or on the half. Stage sets are 30 min long, but if you are giving a lapdance or in VIP you can skip your stage set. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the club except at the upstairs bar, but most customers just go outside. Lapdances are done in a large open room, lined with small couches, customers keep their arms to the side. You are allowed to set your own prices, but club does take $5 of each dance. VIP rooms upstairs are sold in 15/30/60 min increments, a host keeps track of the time, again you may set your own prices, but club takes $50/90/150 dollars. 30 & 60 min VIPs include 2 free drinks. Customers do expect more contact upstairs, but nothing major, the rooms do not have doors/curtains. The club has 3 ATMs on the premises, or customers can use a cc to purchase dances if they agree to a 7% fee. Nightly earnings for me varied, and, like at many clubs, Mondays are the slowest night of the week, Fridays the best. The stage just takes up too much of this club in my opinion and how they run so many multiple dancers on stage at a time can make selling dances difficult at times. Many customers are just happy as clams to sit at the stage all night and not buy any lapdances at all. However, any night of the week you should be able to make $150-$200 in stage tips alone, so you never have to worry about not making your housefees back or anything like that. Overall, I did like this club bc management is laid back, dances are low contact and you can set your own dance prices. If this club was closer to me I would definitely work there more often. Good luck!
