Additional Information
I just started here about 2 weeks ago. i work dayshift.
so far i like it a lot. they have a buffet lunch, subs, salad, and some other strange looking stuff between noon and 5p. some of the regualrs come in just for that and then get an after lunch dance or two. so far the people have all been very nice.
they have a nice system for the dances. you can do a tableside dance, fully clothed, for tips. or you can do the vip room for $20. or they have the cabret suites, $90/15 min, $150/30min. plus they get free dvds with that. good deal for them. I dont like the vip room chairs because they are small chairs and are hard to work on. other then that the vip room looks classy and nice. with blacklights, curtains that glow in them, and mirrors that are framed. you also have to use a jukebox type thing for the vip area. so technicly it costs the guy $21 for a dance. and you have to pick out the songs so its best to learn what your favorites are and just hit them quick. they also work on a ticket system here. (see lookers) but the tickerts are smaller and easier to handle, also easier to explain and understand. when a guy wants a dance you go to the bartender and he gives her $20 she gives you a ticket, you go to the jukebox and pick 3 songs. you go in the room and dance. if he wants another song you just keep danceing, so on and so forth. when you are done, you go to the bartender and for each additinal song you did past the first one. you give her $5 and keep the rest of the cash. so if a guy buys 2 dances in a row you get $25, if he buys 3 in a row you get $40. I have yet to do a cabret suite so i dont know exactly how that works.
dances:
they pay (you keep) how long/type of room
tips $1-$5 (all) whatever/no room, just wherever
$20 ($10 $15) one song/vip small room, small chair
$90 (?) 15min/cabret suite with couch(plus they get a DVD)
$150 (?) 30min/cabret suit with couch (plus they get 2 DVD's
the bathroom is in need of remodeling. the dressing room is ok. there are lockers there you can use.
the stage is a good size. big enough to do things on but not so big that you are far away from the customers. there is a regular stage area plus a runway out from the middle of that. depending on the customers you can useually chose to do 2 or 3 songs, and if they arent tipping you dont have to get naked. during the day though its actually rare to go up at all. the pole is brass, good size, has headroom, and spins! making it much easier to work on.
tipouts/fees dayshift
weekday $10-house
dj $5
bartender$5
oh the most important thing. they understand the term INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. awesome. no sceduals. no fines for showing up late, leaving early, not showing up, not getting naked on stage. or anything. they work the otherway around. rewards for working 5 fulls shifts a week (the next week you dont have to pay house fees at all), if you work 25 full shifts in a month you get to pick a day every week of the next month (mon-thur) where you dont pay for your dances, you get to keep the entire $20! there is also a reward for the girl who gets the most tickets each week. I like it because if the weather is bad i dont have to feel so guilty about not going in. i would prefer to be in 5 shifts a week, but sometimes blizzards just happen.
overall i like it quite a bit. lots of dances to be had. guys are nice, not begging to fuck you or anything. could be a little cleaner. but i am kinda picky.
