Additional Information
I have worked all over the country from Deja Vu in Seattle, WA to Cheetah's in West Palm Beach, FL. This is by far my favorite club from a dancers perspective. Management in wonderful and genuinely concerned for the girls, both in and out of the club. Our house mom, Kelly, is amazing and I dont know how any of us would survive without her. We have a makeup artist from MAC available 4-5 nights a week, and our floormen are supportive, protective and friendly but never inappropriate. This is actually the only club I've worked at where I have not been hit on by the staff. There is minimal drama, the girls are all nice and we all get along. Drug use is minimal and I have never actually SEEN drugs being used.
I believe that the owner and management take pride in their entertainers and do not just hire any girl off the street, like most clubs who only care about getting their house fees. I find this club to be very clean, and have not seen dirty dancers last for more than a week. Customers do not expect to touch, and I find our customers to be the most respectful I have ever encountered.
My only complaint is our DJ, Doc... He leaves his booth often, which may be the reason why songs are dragged out, and when there are more than X number of girls, he is supposed to shorten the songs and doesn't. It is very frustrating when the difference is $100 an hour on long songs, or $200 on shortened songs. He does not allow adequate time between songs to switch to a new customer which results in songs being wasted waiting for a new song to start.
House fees are $50 before 8pm, and $55 til 11pm, then $75 after 11. We also run extravaganzas pretty often where we sell Christies merchandise and do two shortened dances for $20; we keep $10 and $10 goes to the club. House fees may seem high, but you have to pay to be where the money is, and the money is definately here! Even with a full roster of girls, there is plenty of money to go around, which decreases competition among girls as well. Overall, Christies is a great place to be a dancer, or a customer.
