Additional Information
This was my second time here; I like this club, but it's not for everyone. Paid shows, booked through Superb Entertainment out of Winnipeg. Feature spot 24 shows, showgirl spots 20-21 shows (6 days, Mon-Sat).
The money here is on the floor, but you have to work for it. Long hours, $10 air/light contact dances, if you're working hard $400-$800 daily to be expected, not including show pay. The dances are easy to sell. Tickets are also used ($1 each, sell 14, winner gets a dance, $4 to DJ).
Club provides accomodation for $130 at a dancer house, or stay at Econolodge down the street. Strip malls across the street, all required amenities nearby.
Shifts are LONG- 12 hour days, w/ a 1-2 hour break (sometimes at a stupid time like an hour after you arrive), otherwise must be on the floor. Changeroom is crazy-small, so you can't really hang out there.
Staff is good. Waitresses and bar staff are aloof but don't cause trouble, DJs are overall very nice, and have been there a long time. Owner is very sweet & nice.
Customers are locals and regulars, with the occasional tourist from Wisconsin or Minnesota. Dances are done on the floor, no provate booths.
Recommended for dancers who are experienced with stage work and long shifts, and who can work the floor. It's a very profitable week if you make it one.
