Additional Information
I only worked here for a couple of days while in Toledo. It's not a bad place; it just wasn't my thing. Lorain's is not a regular strip club. It is private dancing where you go into a room with a customer and you dance for them. The customers are allowed to masturbate and most of them do. It sounds shady, but there are no extras that go on here that I am aware of. They watch you through a tiny peephole in the door, and you will get fired if you jack the customer off or have any kind of illegal sexual contact with the custy. The customers are allowed to touch you, but they can't touch your butt, boobs, or kitty. You cannot put your boobs in the custy's face, and you cannot sit on their lap or grind on them while their dick is out. It seems like they enforce these rules pretty strictly.
There are a lot of different shows here such as a shower show, domination show, 2 girl show, and El Supremo. You do not have to do domination shows, and you only do what you and the other girl are comfortable with in the 2 girl shows. If you get a 2 girl show, it's best if you both discuss your limits beforehand. Most customers do not expect the two of you to eat each other out or anything like that, some light touching is fine.
The shows range in price from $80 to $240, I think. I could be wrong on the prices. The dancers receive 50% of all shows, and sometimes the customers will tip you on top of that. You are not allowed to ask for tips though. The cheapest show is the lingerie show for $80, and that is where you do half an hour of couch dancing for the customer fully clothed. I did not like that because half an hour is a long time to dance for only $40 (which is your cut of the show.) The most expensive show is the El Supremo, which is an hour long show. Half an hour of that is couch dancing and half of that is a shower show. This costs $240 and you get $120 of that.
New dancers do not have to pay any additional tipout in addition to the 50% they take from each show. After your first week, I think you must pay an additional $10 for each show you do. So after your first week, if you do a half hour lingerie show for $80, your cut would be $40 and they would subtract an additional $10, so you would be left with $30. For an El Supremo, you would get $110 instead of $120.
You get your pay for your shows at the end of your shift, unless the customer pays by credit card. If he pays by credit card, you have to wait 2 weeks to get paid for your show, which kind of sucks.
It is not hard to get hired here. There is no audition or anything-you just fill out an application and they take a Polaroid of you. There is a wide variety of girls, ranging from overweight and ugly to really pretty. There is someone here for just about everyone's taste. You do have to be put on a schedule, which you fill out the week beforehand. However, you can choose your own days and hours. Make sure you show up for your scheduled shifts though. You will be fined if you don't show up.
When a customer comes in, all the dancers sit in the lobby while one dancer explains the different shows to him. He then looks around at the dancers and chooses who he wants for a show, so make sure you are looking your best with your hair and makeup done. Some girls go in the lobby with messy hair and no makeup on and wonder why they don't get chosen for shows. LOL
If you work here, bring along a book or magazine to read or something to do, because you will have long periods of time where you are sitting around waiting for customers to come in. They have a microwave and fridge there, so you can bring food and drinks along as well.
If you're looking to make big bucks, I wouldn't come here. There are days where you can make a couple hundred dollars, but there are also days where you leave with nothing because no customers come in. This is a good side job to have for 1 or 2 days a week. A lot of girls who work here also dance at regular strip clubs as well. If you work here full-time and have no other jobs, you may not make enough to pay your bills. It's not a bad place to work and I liked that you don't have to hustle, but it was just not enough money for me.
