I thought I’d provide an updated review! I’ve danced all over Ontario and Quebec so I’m not new by any means so take this with a grain of salt. The first thing I want to mention is that the manager made it VERY clear that you are NOT allowed to ask for tips AT ALL. Because they “don’t want the customers to feel pressured”. Since I’m new I didn’t attempt it, because I don’t know any other girls there and I didnt want them ratting me out. (The lap dance area is an open room, not separate booths.) dances are 20 a song. The lap dance songs feel shorter than other clubs, probably closer to 2 minutes than 3. 30 mins is 200 and 1hr is 400. There are champagne rooms which are 250 for the half hour (50 to the club) and 450 for an hour. (50 to the club). The club will take care of handling payment for the room and if your champagne room time coincides with your stage time they’ll skip you on stage. Speaking of going on stage, brass rail is next door to another club, Upper Brass. The two clubs connect via the dressing room. There’s 2 DJs, and you have to talk to both at the start of your shift so they can let you know what time you’ll be going on stage. You have to do a minimum of two stage shows, one at each club. You also get paid $20 for each stage show. House fees are $20 before 9:00 and $40 after up until midnight, which is the latest you can arrive. There are also lots of dancers here, but when I went it was busy so I didn’t make it far on the floor before getting a customer and heading to the back again. If you know how to hustle you can make $1k per shift on weekends. Only two customers tipped me after dances but on average each customer got 4-5 dances. Also I didn’t have any customers ask me for extras which is a breath of fresh air working in Toronto lol.

This was by far my favorite club i worked in Toronto, if my visa hadn't run out I would still be there! I mostly worked day's which i found to be more relaxed and the potential to make money while not as "busy" as night time you can still make good money and then go out after work and have a life :)

Well what can i say that already hasnt been said! The girls are bitches and the staff are rude! This place is cracked up to be great! I was suprised at the quality of girls there i thought they would be good looking! Most of them have good bodys but not very attractive faces! A lot of fake boobs here as well its a very hustle hustle enviorment! As soon as one girl leaves a client another is running over! It is good because you dont have to talk to the client long! I find this place so small and crowded everyones on each others toes! Also there are to many rules its bush! Did i mention the staff are assholes? They play favorites.

Okay I gave this club a decent review before but something about it I just dont like now. Its a high hustle envoirment. The girls are hot, there are A LOT of girls on the floor every night and its just not my type of club. I enjoy a party type club and this club just is not one. You have to be careful about your music because it cant have swearing or imply violence. The DJs are nice to work with. I dont know there is just something about this club I dont like anymore. You either love it or hate it. The girls are a serious pain for the most part to work with. Some are nice but the ones who have been there for awhile really get bitchy with new girls. If you can handle high competition and a shit load of rules its a great club. I just prefer a laid back party envoirment.

I've been at this club for about a week now and its great. You have to hustle but not to extreme measures. The club is nice, though the stairs to the changing room are suicide. You have the option of going between the upper and lower brass. To work upstairs though you need to wear a gown because its more of a buisness class type. The lower Rail is nice and a bit more laid back. Dances are $20, no deals made. So far im enjoying working here. There are no tip outs. You pay $20 to work before 9pm and $40 after. You come and go as you please. Overall this is a great club to work.

used to work at the Rail til they dismissed me for trying to get paid. They seem to be playing favours for their clients, have they forgotten why these men attend such joints? They re not there to make friends with the staff yet to relax and have a goodtime with the ladies. They need to keep in mind that the girls bring in the bussiness and not a bar full of liquir and annoying managers. The club itself is great but management is in desprate need of improvement. Its only a matter of time til they reach the bottom of the hill. I recentley tried to go back and the night manager Peter said " we re not bringing back the girls we let go", yet he did hire back guite a few girls and these girls arent the type you d call strippers. Dirty girls is what they stand for. I mean what kinda message are you sending out? What kinda bussiness do you own/run? Most of all, do you have any idea of the role your managers play in your club? Personally when I m there, I wanna make money and not buddies. I dont wanna be talking to the staff to make them feel better about their laim everyday lives, I especially dont wanna be kissing Peter s butt to stop him from harrassing me. This guy can manage to turn anyones day into crap. He should not be in management. He like to say he is professional but believe me far from it. As a professional you do not push/force anyone. You try to work with them to make improvement NOT dissasters. And as for the clients, I feel for them. They have it worste, its no wonder they wont come back. This club is very lucky to have a popular name, if it werent for that they d be long gone.

If you like fierce competition, then this is the place for you. Until about 10pm, there are usually more dancers than customers :(. This place is highly over-rated and relies on it's reputation alone to attract business. They used to be unbelievably busy in it's prime time, until about 2000, now it is at a steady decline, due to bad business decisions on the owner's part (mainly their poor choices on management - I think they've gone through maybe 20 managers since 2000, literally!) The only compliments I have for this place are 2: only 1 $10 cover for their VIP in the mezane. I really hate covers all together and many clubs in Toronto these days are implementing them. The other compliment is the nice clean changerooms. They employed a woman to upkeep them throughout the night. And there's like 10 changerooms, lockers are abundant. This club has about 150 dancers, some unfortunate evenings, they seem to all be there at the same time! In contrast to that figure, this is a rather small bar; the owners made a good choice by adding the mezane back in 2000 to accomodate more customers and that gave us more space, more boots to dance in. (You had to wait late in the night for one to open :P. The women are varied; some are absolute knockouts, others are ugly. The ugly ones have been there for years, and this club is now selective about newcomers. The drinks are perhaps the highest in Toronto >:(. The doorstaff now have a new policy, they make customers buy a drink as soon as they enter at the bar which is bad for the waitresses, and illegal according to our liquer laws. The waitresses harrass the guys if they take too long to drink up too. Guaranteed they are told to cunduct themselves in this unattractive behavior. Not a very friendly enviornment. The dancers are nice, if you get to know them. Under the conditions they have to work under, watch your back :'(. The security for us is not so hot; if you get ripped off, good luck. They have lots of doormen (too many to keep the atmosphere comfortable for patrons). The doormen tend to be arrogant buffoons and tend to take the customer's word over your own. Not always, but often this is the case. This club has WAY too many EE girls there, perhaps 50% and the guys are bored with them. When I was there, I told guys upfront that I was not European so they would give me a chance! The reason for the large number of dancers and the business this club receives has to do with their successful history that is just that; history. Men will continue to go there from reputation alone, but there are not as many lineups as there once was. Men complain to me about that place all the time elsewhere. The majority of their clientelle are either long time regulars, or first timers - that vow never to go back. Until the owners learn to stop counting their own money and start thinking of long term success strategies, I strongly don't reccommend this club.
