This is about the least high-end club I've worked. The pros is that you can come whenever. Unlike a lot of CA clubs, there are no scheduling, and if you've been there a while, they are very flexible, meaning you can come in as late as 1am or even after 2 for a few hours. It's come and go as you wish. Management brings food for the girls to make it homey. The dj seems friendly with everyone. It's in a high profile location, so there are definitely wealthy customers that trickle in. Now, for the cons. Most of the customers whether they are wealthy or not, are extremely rude, rough, on a power trip, have very very high expectations regarding contact. Do not be surprised if you are sexually assaulted at this place, to add to the strew of physical and verbal assaults you will need to bear. I don't know if extras are allowed or not but the management needs to make up their mind. The management will always side with the customer (that is, unless you are fucking the management, I presume). It's been known as a "pick-up" spot for sugardaddies (whatever the heck you wanna call it; they are simply 'tricks' and know it) but I wouldn't call any of these customers high end, no matter their net worth. Most I ever made at the club was $1000 on a Wednesday night, $700 is also possible. I've considered $400-600 for a 4-6 hour shift working extremely hard a decent night but it would stall, once I was no longer "new". So I'd leave for a few months, then come back, and the money seemed to trickle back in. Plenty of times I left with no money because it was too hard a hussle. Many of the girls at that place are in a desperate state, single mothers, cheap prostitutes, uneducated, undocumented-basically, your stereotypical stripper.

Hiring Tips: Just ask for Aboud (he's in everyday after 8 PM), and ask if you can work. Bring your stuff.
Additional Information
The first time I went here was on a Monday night for their Amateur Contest. The girl at the door told me they weren't having it anymore (not enough girls showed up), and made me pay $10 to get in. Once I got in, I found the manager, Aboud, and asked him if I could dance. He looked me over and showed me the dressing room. After I got dressed and went back downstairs, Aboud took me into his office. He didn't really have anything to say except "You can make a lot of money here", blah blah blah. He then asked to see my tattoo, which is script across my lower stomach, and for some reason he felt the need to touch it. That's when I got freaked out, changed into my clothes and left. I planned on never returning, but after trying out a few other clubs and making no money, I decided to try out the Body Shop one more time and avoid the manager at all costs. I haven't talked to the manager since I've been back, and I've been working there for about two weeks now. There is no schedule whatsoever, you come and go as you please, so I don't go in until about midnight. The club is pretty much dead until bar close. Friday and Saturday nights are PACKED. Customers tip very well on stage. One night I made $300 from just stage tips. The way their stage is layed out is just stupid, though. I'm used to being on an actual stage, not a pit like their stage. There is seriously NO room to move whatsoever. As for lap dances, it's somewhat of a struggle to get the customers back there. You give the dance in a tiny cubby, while they sit on a dinky plastic chair. Absolutely no room to move. The guys will touch you a lot. They have employees walking through every now and then, but they don't care what goes on. I've witnessed it. The club takes $10 out of every $25 topless, and $15 out of every $40 nude. Your first dance of the night goes to the house for your stage fee. You don't need to tip anyone except the DJ which is a minimum of $10. It gets extremely crowded and VERY HOT, but no one turns on the damn air conditioning. It honestly gets miserable. The girls are nice and helpful, you just have to talk to them first. Management doesn't give a shit about you. I'm in the process of finding a new club to work at, but in the meantime the Body Shop is okay. The working conditions suck and makes it hard for me to force myself to go into work, but if you try hard enough, you can make good money. My best night there was around $700 from working 12 AM to 4 AM. Worst night was $50.

Hiring Tips: Monday night between 9-10 show up for lame amateur contest
Additional Information
I went here around 9:30pm Monday for the "amateur contest" to see if I could get hired. Let me tell you, I didn't even make it that far. As soon as I walked in, they put me on stage like, 3 times in a 20 minute period because only one other girl had shown up. The DJ was pretty cool and told me I could stay and work before and after the contest. I pretty much had to ask him everything because I didn't see any managers for a while. The door guy didn't give me any direction as to what the club rules were. So I just went out and hustled, got 3 topless dances and then went back up the rickety and dangerous stairway to hell that they call the dressing room. I was drinking a bottle of water when a manager who had not even introduced himself to me started yelling at all the other girls to go downstairs and make money. When I continued to sit and rest, he started yelling at me, so I quietly put my clothes back on, collected my CDs and left. Another manager tried to get me to stay but I told him that I don't appreciate managers acting like pimps. Topless dances are $25, nude are $40 and there is NO VIP ROOM!! WTF? The dances I did were monitored by some nearby cashier. I also really hated the dance booths. The moves I could do were very limited by the fact that the customer had to sit in a tiny little chair and I felt like I was in a veal pen. They need new management and to put some money into remodeling, then the club COULD be halfway decent. That is, if they weren't in such a touristy location. Most of the customers were super young and were just there for the show. Not worth the lame 'amateur contest audition' humiliation.

I did not have such a bad time here...I was incredibly busy. On weekend nights, I literally do not leave the lapdance area. The minute I come out to like, find my lipgloss or something another guy meekly asks me if I want to dance. Even the young guys I talked to *on a whim* we're like "sure" and just followed me back. I think the guys can tell that it's impossible for you to sit on their laps in their little chairs, but I attempt to make contact anyway. I have alot of fun here...The mirrors everywhere create a magical feeling, glamorous....The bad thing is I sometimes consider going home with them. so many sweet sweet in-shape, good looking "FIRST TIMERS" are like, dragged there by their horndog buddies and they just really, truly, never had a chance. Of course they are going to say yes! Management: was nice to me The Girls: friendly enough if you smile when trying to get by. After two nights we're beginning to converse. Not as much blonde and silicone as you would think, some very natural beauties too. Oh...also, I'm glad I stay in the back doing dances most the night because they have like 18 strobe lights on the ceiling and it makes me think I'm an epileptic.

This is the worst club I've ever worked at in my life. The stage is TINY - so small you don't even have room to do basic floorwork. The customers are rude, cheap, teenage tourists who are only there because they're not old enough to get into the bars. The lapdance areas are too small to give a halfway decent dance, but that's okay because the customers just want you to grind them silly. The customers sit on a tiny stackable chair for the dance, so anything you do will tip them over. The other girls were all sucking on the customers' nipples and grabbing them through their jeans - and that's just what I saw. The dressing room and the DJ booth are way up these miserable stairs; I got splinters in my hand from the banister. The DJ lost my CD's, forgot what songs I wanted, and burned this awful-smelling incense so that the entire dressing room made me sick. The girls were mostly catty and rude. You only get to keep about half of what you make, and the customers love fucking with you. I hear that this place does a lot of business at night, but on a Saturday afternoon it is DEAD. I was there from 12 noon to 8 pm and only did two dances, and they were hardly worth it for all the hassle. The night managers come on at 8, and they are ASSHOLES. And after 8, they take even more of your money. I was going to stay late, but it wasn't worth it. I don't want to come back here again. Seriously, this might be the worst club in L.A.

Management is horrible. Unfriendly and down right rude. The club is okay, it has a set of "killer" stairs watch it girls. The girls are indifferent to you, you will not feel welcomed. It seems like a place where people come to watch and drink, not to really tip or get dances. Dances are $40 nude, but there are hardly any customer. Its located in a weird section of town, very busy and very touristy. The dj was good. It had a mix of girls, but most are lookers. I noticed "blonds" and "silicone" rule here. And pole work is the norm.

Bands will make me dance..........
