Additional Information
I worked at Rachel's in West Palm Beach for about 6 months. Dances are $20 each on the floor, you keep your bottoms on. "Friction" dances are $25 each and you give $5 to the house for each dance you do. VIP is as follows: three sets of rooms. In the smallest, least private room you get $200/hour, in the bigger room you get $300/hr and in the biggest room, called the Sky Box, you get $500/hr. There's no half hour or 15 min or anything like that. House fee is $40 if you are on the floor by 8pm. House mom is $5 and security is $5. You gotta give 10% of your earnings to the DJ at the end of the night and $20 is the minimum you can give to the DJ.
There are three types of customers at Rachel's: 1. Very rich individuals who are there to spend serious amounts of money. They come either alone or with friends and will take you to the VIP for many hours on end, pay for everything and tip you very well. Those are the ones that make coming to this club to work worth it. During season--October through early April, there will be approximately 50% of club's population of those customers. During off season, there will be one or two in a month.
2. Very rich individuals who have some kind of principle or whatever it is to not spend more then $40-$60 on a single stripper. They come in usually with friends, they usually are younger and they buy expensive bottles for their table. They do not go to the VIP and as I said before, they do not buy more that 2-3 dances from a single girl.
3. Very poor guys who come there to waste space and everybody's time. They usually are regulars of the club who live near it and like to stop by to stare at the girls on stage. They will never buy anything from you unless you are the queen of hustle, then you can hope to sell them one dance.
The hustle at rachel's is super slow and seems more like a lottery. You gotta pick a guy and keep him company forever in hopes that he will be "the guy" to make your whole night. I have seen girls sitting with those guys and then making crazy money with them in VIP and I also seen girls sitting with the guys and making nothing, as they got up and left. The management does not regulate how many girls work per night, therefore be ready to work with 98 girls against 35-40 customers. Needless to say, it is very competitive, but it is quite possible to make good money there. You just gotta be quick and always keep your eye on what is going on around you;-)
