I thought I'd talk a little about Getaway Lounge. In Between Lounge used to be another club in the area, but had closed years ago. When I drove up to the place one night I was initially afraid since it was a double wide trailer, so I was expecting a dive filled with methheads and toothless people. Also it was up the road from Plymouth which isn't the nicest looking town. But inside was surprisingly decent and looked like a regular club with a setup where you dance on stage in the center of the bar and do a tip walk to collect tips. The club and bar were kept clean. But still a dive bar. If you want to work here, you do an audition on stage and it's pretty easy to get hired. The main manager that I remember was a woman and the actual owners, who I haven't met, I heard were a younger married couple who do stop in from time to time at the bar. Management were respectful and nice to the girls and look out for them. The dress code is anything (it's also a fully nude club), and the girls were OK. I didn't interact with them much, but as I could see they didn't seem to have an issue with theft in the locker room. I didn't really see drugs much (aside from weed), I don't really go looking for those things so if it's there it's discreet, although there were a couple of girls who looked like they were users. The locker room itself is small and there were some lockers. Some girls looked decent, others not really. What you would expect from a typical dive bar. It's a mom and pop club feeling. No DJ at this club from what I remember, and during the week you pick your own music to dance to from the jukebox. The house fees were very low, almost non-existent. I think it was $10 or something, it was low enough that I can't remember. The money. I liked working here for the brief time that I did, but don't expect a lot of money. On the weekends you could make some decent stage tips and it can get a decent crowd (and you get to go on stage a few times a night if that is your thing), however on the weekdays it was very hard to make $100-$200. For a few reasons - during the week it was often slow. I've tried dayshift and night shift and have gotten lucky only a few times since there would be a few guys that would come in after work with some money to spend. But unfortunately you're also competing with girls who don't know how to hustle. From my impression a lot of the girls have not worked in other types of clubs, so you often see a few of them camping customers and getting hammered on drinks, sitting longer than they should with customers instead of asking for dances. So they're sitting for several hours in some cases with the same guy, so you don't get a chance to try and get some money. When it's not slow, or you're not competing with girls who don't know how to hustle, the customers that do come in leave a lot to be desired. You'll meet guys that come in from the Wilkes-Barre area, but you'll also meet guys from the surrounding country towns (I even met a few customers all the way from Danville), so you'll meet some country bumpkins that don't have much to spend, guys who like coming to that particular club because "they don't do upscale clubs" and don't have to spend money, and young guys. Also the dance prices were a bit different than what I'm used to...I remember it being $30 for 2 songs. It was that, or a little more and they take a cut of the dances, but you end up with less. You do dances in a small curtained off area with an old fabric chair. The customers were really mixed about contact; some wouldn't try to touch you, and some would try to touch you all over. I always tried to upsell for contact dances so I would suggest this for extra money. I had to leave, since it's actually very easy to meet people you don't want seeing you in a club (it's a small area) and for higher earning potentials. I liked the management a lot, but it was better for me (and my wallet) to go to higher hustle clubs.

The Inn Between is a good bar if you are just starting out dancing. I would advise it if someone was a newbie or not looking for a full time money making career. I think that the girls there are great and the management seems very friendly and are good to work with. Customers are very easy going too! Good job!!!
