I have absolutely no problem with this club. As a matter of fact, I travel here quite often w/ my significant other from the States just to come here...and for us, that says a lot about the place. I have a blast. Hands Down-The Cecil rocks. I am also surprised there isnt more reviews. Too bad I dont live in Canada, I would love to dance here! Clean/Fun/Beautiful Girls/Good Staff

Had some free time on my hands so I decided to check out the Cecil before it goes. Like most of downtown Vancouver, you can expect to pay for parking before 8pm (though there are a few free parking spots at the end of the block). Showlounge entrance is at the back of the building. There is one large stage in the center of the room with seating around the stage in a ''U" shape. Behind the stage is a trapezoid shaped mirror wall. There are two poles on stage... one to the left close to the edge where most customers seem to hang out and one center-right which is to the back a little. There are also two pillars on stage approx six inches in diameter which many dancers incorporate into their shows. Plenty of seating is available though I noticed there are a few obstructed views for the booths due to pillars in the way. DJ booth is behind the stage to the left and to the far left are the pool tables and mini-arcade. On the far right of the stage is the VIP area and stage. Food and drink prices are very reasonable for a strip club and the food is actually half decent. The left side of the room is the bar and mens washroom which I must say is one of the cleanest washrooms I've ever come across at a strip club. One last thing of note is the lack of cigarette smoke/odor which I assume is a result of the smoking ban in Vancouver bars and restaurants. Maybe not so good if you're a smoker but for those of us who don't smoke, it was definitely appreciated.

I've been to quite a few of the local clubs, but I rank the Cecil as the best. I give it more points then Brandi's because it seems more friendly and welcoming. The dancers also feel this way, and I have a blast everytime I go here.
