Additional Information
You no longer have to sell drinks to customers here and they no longer have a "no rap rule", so that's changed since the past reviewers. The Mouse's Ear was the shittiest club I've worked at in the past 5 years. I usually prefer gentlemen's clubs where you can sell rooms or private dances, and that is not the hustle here at all. This club is no contact which seems nice, but makes it hard to stack dances. Table dances are $10 (club gets 2), table top dances are $20 (club gets $5), and couch dances are $40 (club gets $10). They do 2 for couch dances pretty frequently and this is when most dancers sell dances. Some of the girls here are shy and keep to themselves, but there is a large portion is loud, negative, and aggressively caught up in drama. I felt extremely unwelcome here and they bitched in the dressing room about how they felt like the new girls were taking their money. Super difficult environment with girls yelling about their abusive exes stalking them, slut shaming other women, and talking about how much they hate the job. It was a toxic environment to work in. On top of that, on the second say I was there, 2 customers faceplanted drunk on the floor. Apparently one was trying to hit (!!!!) a dancer. My attention was brought to it when the manager started hitting this guy and cussing at him. Then they left him face down on the floor until the cops came. When I later mentioned that it was scary to me and that kind of thing doesn't usually happen where I work, the manager said "Welcome to Knoxville, honey". Like ew what the fuck. So yeah, very unprofessional management, no bouncers, no private rooms. It's BYOB, so customers bring their own beer and liquor. There is a lot of tipping on stage bc it's a full nude club. The main stage doesn't have a pole though. It's got a low ceiling, so you kind of hold onto the ceiling and do spins and floor work. It was a bizarre environment. Management also wants dancers to work 4 days a week with 8 hr shifts. Either 4pm-12am or 7pm-3am. Most of the people here seem miserable. I made $200-550/night but I hustled to get it. I was charging $20 instead of $10 for table dances, which helped. There are definitely people who like to spend money who come here. I met a lot of cool and interesting customers, but the girls were very territorial about custies. Would not recommend this club unless you're desperate.
