In my opinion (and i'm not alone ladies!)... this is by far the best club to work at in Australia. I was there last spring (of course, it was fall there). Selling dances was different than i was used to. The biggest money makers wouldn't speak to customers more than a minute or two before asking for a dance. Any given customer usually wouldn't spend more than $50 (Australian dollars). So you have to constantly keep moving. Not a lot of conversation, and a lot of hussle. The dancers are pretty varied in terms of looks. The real hotties seem to come out later in the evenings closer towards the end of the week. The rest of the time, many of the dancers there are pretty average looking. Most customers expect air dances. Meaning, they're willing to accept air dances. Some girls try to get a away with a little contact, but it can be stressful because the security guards are really anal. Customers are mostly local or from other parts of Australia. Lots of young blue collar worker types. But of course the young good-looking ones tend to be the ones without money,...target the old and boring. that's a much safer bet. Management is great. They are very on top of things, organized and fair. However, sometimes I feel like some of them take their notions of propriety and rules a little too seriously. For example, I once got yelled at for chewing gum. Anyway, they might be a bit strict, but they are very responsible reliable people, so all in all i gotta give'em good marks. I found tip outs pretty low, especially if you start at 5pm. Ladies are allowed a minimum work schedule of three days a week. A couple ice-queens aside, the dancers are incredibly warm, friendly and down to earth. I never felt like i was getting stabbed in the back or like i was competing against other dancers. (though i've never been there during this time) everyone i talk to agrees that summer is by far the best time to be there. (Australian summer, that is). So from September to March. This time is best. One thing that constantly shocked me while i was there was how popular my American accent was with the Aussie guys. They absolutely died for it. You might make a bit more money working at a similar club in the States. But if you're wanting a new experience, and if you're interested in seeing australia, this is a great way to do it![/SIZE]
