I was surprised to find that there wasn't any reviews for ANY of the clubs in Guam...seeing how there are SO many girls that fly out there. Well I've worked at 5 of the clubs in Guam and have spent the last two years flying back and forth from the states, so I figured I'd be the one to write the reviews for the Guam clubs. I'm going to start with my favorite. The Viking So lets start from the beginning. Lets say that you're a dancer looking to travel to somewhere completely new and on the other side of the planet from the good ol' US of A. Guam is perfect. It's always around 80 degrees outside, tropical, VERY HOT and HUMID, the beaches there are GORGEOUS and scuba diving is immaculate. (I AM NOT AN AGENT feeding you bullshit about the place to get you to go there. This is all from personal experience.) If you don't know where Guam is look it up on the internet. (Google or something) It's right under Japan, right above Australia, right next to the Phillipines. Because of it being so close to Japan, you get A LOT of Japanese tourists in the clubs. Sometimes this can work in your favor depending on your style and what you like catering to. The clubs there operate WAY differently then any club that you would ever work at in the states. First off, girls are contracted out there. (This is any club in Guam, not just Vikings) Usually the club will pay for your airfare out there and give you accomodations as long as you complete a 13 week contract. (Vikings does an 8 week contract but you pay for your ticket home. Generally about 1200 dollars) For every 6 working days that you complete they pay you a salary of 450 dollars. Sometimes you can get fined for things that decrease your pay. (Showing up late, leaving early, not taking your panties off on stage, etc.) Now, like I said before this is for ALL clubs in Guam. Some clubs are more leanient on their fines. I've found the Vikings was the best. You generally sell more drinks than you do lap dances. For a guy to buy you a drink is 20 dollars. Or 40 depending on the drink. All lap dances are done in a private room. The dances start out 30 dollars a song. You can also sell the champange room for 200 dollars to 600 dollars an hour. This all depends on what you want to charge. I never charged under 300 per hour. You can also get "bought out" where you get to leave the club with the customer for an hour. This costs the same as a champange room but it basically caters to whatever you feel more comfortable with. Whenever I got bought out I always took the customer to other bars or to other strip clubs to see my friends. Everything is in walking distance or a cheap cab ride away. (You should know better than to get into a car with a customer) Some girls like sitting around drinking champange. I liked getting bought out more, because leaving work makes the night go by faster and I get to see my friends out at bars. Whatever you earn, be it drinks, dances, whatever, half of your earnings go to the club. Now there is a huge Navy Base, and airforce base on the island so a lot of the clientele is Military. The rest of the clientele is generally Japanese tourist and some locals. (The locals usually don't spend money though because they are broke most of the time) You know military gets paid on the 1st and 15th of every month, so this works in your favor. You can usually get a drink or two from the Japanese, but that's about it. They either tip REALLY well on stage or not at all. There doesn't seem to be a happy medium. I found that I made most of my money off of the military. I could relate more with them, therefore they'd spend more money on me. Not to mention they all have government issued credit cards...this DEFINITELY works in your favor. Once a guy is hammered and lays down a card, it's pretty much over from there and you make GOOD money. Guam is also a major port for the military, so you'll get a Air Carriers that come in, and when this happens the island is FILLED with boys that have been out to sea forever, and want to come to strip clubs and get ROWDY. (They usually get drunk and spend a lot of money) They usually stay in port for a couple days and then leave. You REALLY want to be around when there are carriers. There are constant boats pulling in and out of Guam, which is nice because you can milk guys for their money and then they leave and you never see them again. It's usually the guys that are stationed there in Guam that are hip to the tricks and won't spend that much money. (There's a good chance that they got wasted and spent all their money at a club at one point and are pissed off about it. HAHA) As far as the contact though, that's what can freak girls out about Guam. So, if a guy tips you on stage, some girls let you touch them. Now this is COMPLETELY UP TO THE GIRLS DISCRECTION. You do NOT have to let guys touch you if you don't wanna be touched. It's COMPLETELY up to you. Japanese guys get a little grabby, but at Vikings the bouncers keep a VERY close watch on you and your stage. Dances are the same. There can be contact, but YOU take it as far as you wanna go. Nobody makes you do anything you don't wanna do. Is there prostitution that goes on? Oh I'm sure of it. There are Korean girls that are called "Drinky girls" that don't dance at ALL. They just sit by the customers while they get boughten drinks, and they can sell private rooms n' stuff too. These are the girls that give handjobs under the table, do nasty stuff in the back rooms etc. Now usually these girls are helping support entire families in Korea and in their culture it's okay to sell your ass, as long as the rewards go to the family. It's either this for the girls, or working long hours in sweat shops. Some dancers might not like this and will say they can't work around prostition or things of that nature, but for me personally, I thought it was a GREAT filter for the guys that came there to be raging perverts, and guys that come there with their friends to party with pretty girls that dance around naked. Again, this is just my opinion. Well now that we've gotten though all the details of dancing in Guam...this is where I can talk about my FAVORITE club to work at. The owner/manager is a lady that goes by the name of "Miss Choi." She is hands down, my favorite person to work for, and when I go back to Guam I will definitely work for her again. No questions asked. She is VERY understanding and leanient. You never have to lie to her about not coming in. You could tell her that you drank too much at the beach today and you don't think that you should come into work. (I've done this MANY times) She will see how many girls she has, and if for some reason she needs you, she'll let you sleep in the backroom and make you go on stage every so often. At other clubs in Guam if you call in sick they fine you 150 dollars out of your pay check unless you bring in a doctors note. (Which costs about the same to get anyways, so either way you lose.) If you prove yourself to be a hard worker Miss Choi will LOVE you and will continue to contract you out there. If you are flakey, use drugs, steal, or start problems with girls, there's a good chance you'll never be employed there again. Vikings has THE BEST location out of any of the clubs in my opinion. Most of the clubs are along this strip in Tumon Bay, and Vikings is in the dead center. I've worked at clubs before that were on the end of the strip and they hardly got any traffic at ALL. Or guys have already checked out all the clubs in the middle of the strip and by the time they make it to the end they've spent all their money. Plus, Vikings is one of THE OLDEST clubs there, so it's imfamous. Guys will go there just to say they went to "The Viking." They whole club looks like a big ship. There's a boat wheel that spins on stage and this is NOTORIOUS for "new guys to the island" to get initiated by getting dragged up their and beated by belts in front of all of their friends. I LOVED doing this because you could charge anywhere from 20 to 100 bucks, depending on the group of guys and how much each of them wanted to chip in to see their friend get humiliated on stage. The shirts guys can buy are GREAT too. The logo says, "I was whipped at the Viking." So to wrap up this review if you are looking for work in Guam I would DEFNITELY check out The Viking before any other place. Send a picture with all of your info to Miss Choi and if she likes you, then she'll fly you out there. She's picky with girls though. (Unlike some of the other clubs) She likes thinner pretty girls for the most part, but that's not always the case. She likes having the reputation for having the hottest girls on the island and as a club owner, who can really blame her. If you have any questions for me feel free to send me a message, or just reply to this review. I would recommend dancing in Guam at some point in your dancing career. It's my favorite place to dance by far. The scenery is breath-taking and it almost feels like a paid vacation. I'm hooked on Guam and always end up going back.
