Additional Information
I worked at this club for 3 1/2 years and just recently left so I'm gonna give the low down on EVERYTHING:
Most of the customers are young military guys (it's right outside of the army base)....most are regulars in there, most come in every single night and sip on a pitcher of beer all night long and stare at the girls on stage. 8 out of 10 the guys give you the line "I don't wanna buy a dance but I'd love to take you out to dinner..." this is because most of the dancers that work here frequently date customers and see them outside of the club so now they are all spoiled and expect this....
They are VERY picky on tattoos and piercings...you can have two small ones in your face but they cannot be rings/hoops....once you get hired you can't get any new tattoos/piercings.
Most of the girls are very skinny, if you are a thicker/curvy girl be expecting for them to get onto you about weight...they love to do this while your working a shift and it completley brings down your self confidence, I've even seen girls cry on stage because of it.
There are several cameras and audio in the dressing room (and throughout the club), they check the tapes ALL THE TIME to listen in on conversations so you can't talk about anything back in the dressing room. Also in the dressing room there are no showers or restroom. You are expected to change after every stage set and if you don't change like a ninja they send bouncers to knock on the door and scream "All of the dancers out of the dressing room NOW!!"
Stage setup is a rectangle stage with a somewhat spinning pole and a steering wheel from the ceiling that you can spin around on...you pick your first song and dance to it on the stage and when the second song starts if you have customers sitting around the stage in the chairs you give them lapdances which are a $1 minimum and most guys do only tip the dollar and expect some extravegant stage dance....I've also noticed that guys just take advantage of this and constantly sit up at stage rather than get V.I.P dances. When you pick your music NO rap is allowed whatsoever, they even say "if it has a rap tune" you can't play it, also no heavy rock is allowed....and if a song has cursing in it they won't let you play it, so picking music is pretty difficult. You also have to bring your own cds or dance to whatever is in the computer which is typically pretty old stuff. You only get to pick your first song, the rest the dj's play and it has to be old rock or old r&b
V.I.P dances are $25 per song, you keep the $20 and $5 of every dance goes to the house. There is supposed to be no touching and just topless but there are quite of few nasty girls that like to disregard these rules and therfore get more dances and business then the clean respectable girls.
At the end of the night house fee is $10, $5 to each bouncer working and 10% of what you made up to $10 dollars goes to the DJ (I always just gave them the full 10 bucks)
They say that it is a flexible schedule but once they get comfortable with you they start making you work the schedule they want you to. You have to work at least one slow night (sunday or monday)...usually the only busy nights are weekends.
Management talks to you like they own your soul.....they do not treat you like an adult whatsoever.
Most dancers end up quitting after a week or two.
