I worked here two shifts bc I am just passing thru.. most everyone who I worked with was nice. Money was good as long as you got a dance! Stage money was good. 50/50 club and if you sell above a $500 room they take the 50% plus you pay gratuity. IÂ’d say it was easy to get hired since I donÂ’t know crazy tricks on pole I just looked very presentable when I came in for audition. Good luck to you all

The girls are really friendly except this chick named Katie. Idk if she has a personal issue that could keep her from being social so that might be the case. The managers are so awesome and they're all women. :) Not gonna lie, I was on dayshift for the week and it was kind of boring. But what can you expect on a dayshift in any club you're not used to? I heard night shift be popping but sometimes they'll have 20 bitches fighting for like 10 customers if that lol. The customers are pretty chill for the most part...watch out for Reggie (regular customer) he'll tip you but will try to make you show cooter cat! LMAOOO

Club Rouge, formerly known as Velvet, changed hands a couple of years ago. It is the only club located in the bar district of Richmond. It has three stories. The first floor holds the bar and stage for female dancers. The second floor has male dancers on the weekends and the third floor is reserved for VIP dances. I worked there for quite a while some years ago and visited fairly recently. Rouge is a nice place to work, though dropping by for a weekend seemed a bit more complicated than I had imagined. I don't think that they have many feature dancers or particularly encourage entertainers on tour to moonlight there for a few nights. Pasties and a T-bar thong are required as per ABC regulation. The club sells both of these things if you happen to have come unprepared. The dancers, staff, and management are all friendly and reasonable. The DJs are wonderful and always do their best to accommodate your music preferences, which, for me at least, is a HUGE plus. Because of their location, much of the clientele wanders in from other bars within walking distance, which gives the club a fun and upbeat atmosphere, especially on the weekends. Stage tips are well above average and dances are reasonably priced for the customer and the entertainer. Overall, it's a pleasant and fun place to work. (Oh, and the money isn't bad either.)
