The Condor is a fantastic place to work, but not necessarily the best club if your goal is to maximize your profit. Customers are definitely a mix between travelers, business men, locals and couples. Most will get a few dances, but big spenders are harder to come by. If you hustle consistently, it's pretty easy to stay busy most of the night and make good money, but it takes commitment. Management is great. They give dancers a lot of leeway, and are not strict about enforcing fines and fees. The girls are treated well and respected, however stripclub culture is slow to change, so the male employees can be overly flirty if you let them. Payout is low, and scheduling is flexible. The club is the world's first topless bar, so the Condor is a SF landmark and part of the area's colorful history. The decor is old school and glamorous, but a little run down. The vibe is super chill. The staff are always having a good time, and are friendly with each other and with locals. There is a wide range in how much money the girls are bringing home a night. I make at least $500/shift but I only work weekends. Other girls do well during the week with regulars. A lot of girls make much less.

this was my first experience dancing at a "real" club. This club was really inconsistent for me. I had some okay nights and a lot of bad nights when I wasn't even earning $100. The club is often empty until after midnight. The one night I did a champagne room I was sexually assaulted. The bouncers told me the client was "wild". Most of the floor guys at this place were disgustingly all over me saying things like "Hey sexy" "Marry me" and one even positioned himself behind me when I am turned around (doggy style). Too many girls and not enough clients. Typically I found that clients coming here are cheap. The regulars who HAVE $$$ already have favorites and rarely go to other dancers. There are dancers doing extras in the champagne rooms. The dancers making the most money are always white. The pole is tall on stage and there's lots of room to do floorwork, wallwork and pole work. I loved all the mirrors and the venue is beautiful. This place did not make me money. I am racially ambiguous with tan skin, skinny and pretty. I am also a pole dancer (hobby) an average night for me was like $80. The tip out was hella low mostly cuz they know NOBODY IS COMING INTO THIS CLUB. The one night I did make money by nearly getting raped the club took $300. Not working here ever again!!!

Additional Information
I was at this club when John was managing and it was much better in terms of atmosphere, health of the dancers, low stage fees and tip outs, and a generally happy club. Mark took over this past summer and the place has become more or less of a slum with HUGE FEES. Mark is ruthless when it comes to payouts, it's a pretty huge bummer for a work environment. Very little money to make.
