I wanted to post an up-to-date review since the only other ones on here are EXTREMELY outdated in terms of how things are run as of right now. Shifts: 11am-7pm day shift, 7pm-2am (3 am on F/Sat/Sun) night shift Floor length gowns are required, stage is full nude. One of the owners likes to micromanage hair, shoes, etc, but he's not around that often and doesn't have much power. Main owner is the best boss I've ever had (including outside the industry). THE GOOD: House fees: No tip out for day shift, if you work a day shift that week you get a free pass for your next night shift. Tip out for night shift is $35 arrival before 7pm, $50 after. If you don't pay these at the door when you arrive, they add on some at the end of the night. Other than this fee, there's nothing else that comes out of your pocket. Club: This club is probably cleaner than my house (and I'm not a messy person). Gorgeously designed and decorated, huge dressing room with a really nice bathroom. Club has 3 levels: 1: two stages 10ft poles, bar, lounge seating. Modern, but looks like a strip club. 2: two stages, 20ft poles, hightop bar, slightly more lounge seating, white marble top counters/ white/blue lighting (really classy vibes). bottle service only on weekends. 3: VIP floor, overlooks the 2nd floor, no one really sits there they just throw money over the railing and then come back down. Private dance area is on this floor. Making money: DC is strict no-touching, so essentially all of your money is stage money. 10 min sets 1 or 2 times an hour. The other way to make money is to sit and talk with customers. If you can hustle, this is where you'll make the real money. Private dances do happen, but they're kind of rare since they aren't lap dances (this is a strict rule). Private dances are $110 for 10 min, you keep $50. There are also shower shows, those are $165ish? for 10 min, you keep $75. The experienced girls will tip out the bouncers to help get them a spot at the table with the high rollers. If you're a house favorite, you might not need to do this as much because the owners and managers will do this for you automatically, but in my experience the bouncers are a little more helpful because they have a constant view of who is on the floor and tipping well. It varies SO MUCH from girl to girl and from night to night, but on average, 200-300 is a bad night, 500+ is a decent night, best night I've had is 1000. Security: Security is absolutely on point. Everyone HAS to be walked to their cars at the end of a shift. All IDs scanned at the door, so they actually will/do ban people who are being shitty/ breaking rules. Only downfall I've seen is with occasional new bouncers who aren't as attentive as they need to be on the floor, but management is pretty much on top of it and I've seen bouncers get pulled off the floor and switched out when they aren't doing what they need to. Make friends with the higher up/ veteran bouncers, to get connections and because they're just awesome people. Management: Management is pretty good. I've never had any major issues with them. Be professional, and you'll be fine. Same goes with the owners. THE BAD: - Girls get fired here every single week. All it really takes is one thing, so be careful. Don't get too drunk, do NOT fight with the other girls, do not steal, never ever ever bring drugs in. Weed may be legal in DC but it is banned in the club, owners have drug dogs come in frequently and they'll randomly search your bags at the door. If you're a responsible and respectful human being its really not hard at all to keep your job here, but there have been a few firings with no explanation. - There is more money to be made at other clubs. Not necessarily other clubs in DC, but obviously you'd make more at a lap dance club. Summer is slow season, picks up in the fall/winter/early spring. This club can be SO hit or miss with money. You'll have one week where everyone makes 700+ on a Wednesday night, then one where no one leaves with more than 300 on a Saturday night. In short, girls will sit in the dressing room for hours and pout over how much they aren't making every single night (when it's a good night no one is acknowledging it because they're all out on the floor hustling their tooshies off LOL). There's more money at lap dance clubs, but if thats not your cup of tea, this is where you want to work. Girls who have worked at other clubs and have made more will tell you they stay at Mpire because of the owners and how well the club is run. Girls very frequently leave the other DC clubs to come here, and always say they are shocked at how much nicer it is.

The Club has 3 levels that are all very narrow but go back far enough to consider this club a small to medium sized establishment. There are 2 poles located on the 1st floor and 2nd floor. 2 all glass encased showers on the 3rd or VIP section, which looks down on the 2nd floor. No contact. No table dances. Can't treat the showers like table dances either because girls are hand selected at the discretion of the "management" team and they are only done 3x in the night during a Friday or Saturday. Club does not do promotions so best rely on curious travelers or establishing regulars. Earnings were $500+ on an average but they've gone down significantly. Tip-out was $50 to start but currently $40 tip-out every night (yes even Sundays...they're not profitable but required to work) which is high for Washington D.C area. Your shift starts at 6pm...be on time!!! Weekdays 6pm-2am, weekend 6pm-3am, and Sunday 4pm-12am. The managerial hierarchy is unclear considering that there is more than 1 "House Mom" whom aren't present at all times sometimes leaving dancers to manage everything from stage times to tip out collection themselves. Sometimes when they were there they still complained about not being able to do their jobs (mostly due to the fact that they were trying to both manage AND dance). They don't work good under pressure, act as dancers when not needed, sit with their old customers and collect tips, are often seen intoxicated or past their limit while working on the floor or as a dancer and resort to inappropriately micromanaging hired dancers. Even after you are hired, everything from your looks to your dancing style will be micromanaged at their discretion while the owner and managers may have a more positive view about your overall package. The "House Moms" are friends of the owners and honestly not very qualified to do their jobs but the management team existing is fine. Ran into two very suspicious things... I've run into were having to fill out a questionnaire about favorite things from what designer bag I like to my hobbies along with a required picture 6 weeks in after hiring(so yes not apart of the employee sheet) which they had plans to set up dancers with customers on dinner dates inside the club...yes I'm sure this won't lead to that person trying to have dinner with you outside the club after buying your favorite designer bag you had on your profile. The problem I have with this is that personal information should be left up to the dancer's discretion to give out, the use of a picture or that information should be done with the permission of the dancer (you couldn't go onto the floor without filling it out), escorting or even the desire to meet customers outside the club...um..yea definitely under dancer discretion. Even if the information was used to build the club website you don't set it up like a camming website...you don't put personal information up with a picture beyond say the dancer's name and where they're from (I guess, but still just the name and pic is enough). Two, there's a full working apartment in the office? Why? You have a roof over your head already. Yeah that's not suspicious if you get raided. Security is excellent and do their jobs a little too well. Sometimes a big guy hoovering over customers that mean no harm can be a little bit much but they do, do their jobs. Leaving the club is never easy. Even after having tip-out paid and customers out of the building you have to clock out. I've only seen 1 check ever as an "employee." New rules such as not being allowed to leave with male company? Why? If this is to prevent escorting lets not be sexist here...for all you know that female they're leaving with is paying for extra services too so lets just stop. Also, I can't help who my Uber driver is and they're mainly males so I can't leave now because my taxi driver has a dick..yeah ok. You can't leave the club once you go in whether you're clocked in or not.. even if you want something to eat and the furthest people go is Chipotle which is 4 doors down, which security guys can still see you and keep an eye on you..yeah really..oh and even if there are no customers there you can't leave. Far as hiring tips. Do not have a lot of tattoos. Do not do hardly any pole tricks (even with a 20ft pole). Don't pat your cat...like EVER or your ass is out of there. Do not have natural hair or a natural hair style (especially dreds). Try to wear your hair down. Do not wear dark make-up...browns, purples, and dark reds. Do not have private part piercing rings in, tongue piercing discouraged, and overall a lot of piercing you can't take out. Do not shake your ass the whole time. Do not spread your legs (not even during a pole trick). No floorwork. Try not to be black, African-American, West-Indian or Latina...trust me the quota is filled and they're at a max capacity of 2%. Asian women will be highly welcomed they hardly have any. Nothing above a size 6. Gowns that are not too revealing and touch your ankles are required. T-back thongs allowed only. No boots or wild colored shoes (pink, blue, multicolored, etc.) and stick to black, clear, white, or red even. Do not email the employee address unless you want to be pre-screened by the "house mom" try emailing another section, making a phone call or perhaps going in person. Make sure the owner, Adrian, is watching your audition because your chances are higher there but in your audition do as follows with what is listed before. Most of the girls are friendly so you won't run into cattiness on their part..."House Moms" well..goodluck. Once hired be acceptable to disrespect or perhaps ignore it all together...actually best not to speak at all. You decide if it's for you because I don't like being verbally bullied or physically touched by a "house mom" and that's exactly what happened. Funny thing is I didn't even get fired for standing up for myself. Yes, maybe I shouldn't of raised my voice and gotten frustrated with someone no where near my level of strength if it had escalated into a fight for the hospital's sake but you can't put your hands on someone, it's not right. I don't care what you were thinking or for your malicious intentions and you can sit here and deny it but that's on your conscious. I have nothing to say to you. Finally piece of advice, adhere to their definition of "classy" because there's nothing more important then still passing judgement on your dancers past hiring every time they work.
