Additional Information
I worked here for 3 months, and really, that was 2 1/2 months too long. This is a great place to start if you have zero pole dancing experience, and if you have never given a lap dance, but this is kind of a D-List club, at best. The management is absolutely terrible, the DJ is frequently MIA for up to 2 hours, the bartender is a notorious bitch (I have had girls ask me at clubs 60 miles away if the bartender working there is a bitch, because if so, they know of her, and would never return to Harley's). When I worked here, I felt like I was the only person who worked there who didn't either smoke weed or do cocaine on the job. Most clubs in the area have standards, and smoking weed on the job, in the locker room is not tolerated, and neither is doing lines of coke. My belongings always smelled like smoke when I left. This club actually has the potential to be a great club, but Katana needs to go. She drives away all the attractive girls. Also, Harley needs to get rid of the fat bitches -- not just ask them to cover up their stomachs, but actually fire them. There is a certain club in Atlanta that has a policy that if you gain weight in your ass, it is okay, but if you gain weight in your belly, you're fired, and if Harley adopted this policy, he would have a great club, but he fucks certain bitches on the job in the back room even though he's married, so they sort of own him. Anyway, I still work in southwest Michigan, but I make 5 times what I made at Harley's, and I'm not even working at the best club in the area... one of the best, but not the best. The girls who were working there for a long period of time had major issues, like losing custody of their kids because they didn't make enough money and because they had cocaine problems, and there was another girl who I worked with who became homeless when she was working here, even though she had 4 kids to support, because business was so bad. There were actually 2 dancers who I worked with at this club who lost custody of her kids, which is unheard of in this business. Harley also calls his dancers bitches, and is completely disrespectful. Steer clear. Also, Harley will let anybody work here. He will even let any female customer get on the stage, no matter how fugly. I remember there was one time when a girl who was literally a 2 got on stage, and made $50 off a bet, and took business away from the next girl who went on stage, who was actually one of the few attractive girls there. Completely unprofessional. The only upside is that there were a lot of customers from Chicago, especially in the summer, because they had lake houses in the area. Dancers were really ugly and fat though... they all had baggage, so customers didn't return so much. I feel kind of bad writing this review, but just the thought of this club makes me cringe. I'm so glad I work for a professional club now! And like I said, I make 5 times more money now, so in all seriousness, don't stay at Harley's. Win their amateur night, learn how to pole dance, and get the hell out of there. Management IS REALLY THAT BAD.
