Additional Information
This is the first and only club I've ever danced at. I started October 2016 and have to date made +$7000 in tips alone ($150/shift average). Showtime Joe's is one of only two clubs in the area that currently pay dancers a wage (waitress wage = $3.83/hour) in addition to the tips. Lap dances are $25/song, dancers keep $16, house gets $9. Bouncer/doorman gets a minimum of $5 (it's customary to tip 10% if you make more than $50). Many dancers get a start at Joe's. Customers are a mix. There are old white guys (who buy drinks/dances), Mexicans (who buy dances), cheap college guys (who don't spend at all), guys stopping through, etc. This club has many regulars. V is an awesome bartender who customers come just to see. She has a reputation of being one of the best bartenders in Springfield. She takes care of the girls. This club is owned by the same management as Centerfolds, the other club that pays a wage. Dancers oftentimes go between the two clubs, depending on what kind of a hustle they have. Generally, Centerfolds is a faster club while Showtime Joe's is a gentleman's club. Both clubs have good earning potential. The most I've made at Showtime Joe's is a little more than $400/night, but I know other girls have made more. One girl in particular could net $500-$1000. It's really about building clientele here. The club goes through phases of dancer turnover. In general, 4-10 girls work at one time. Stage sets are two songs long. Dancers buy their music out of the jukebox, so each set costs $2.00. Dancers wear dresses on the floor. On stage, they can strip all the way to the thong but no more. Dancers wear boy shorts/underwear over their thong in lap dance. Bouncers are attentive and follow the rules. Girls are walked out to their car after the night is over. It's a great club, but it does have it's slow nights. A strong hustle is sometimes needed to make money. Overall, 10/10. It's a step above all the area clubs.
