Additional Information
I've been at this club a long time. It's gotten better and worst. It used to look worst... and it doesn't even look good now. You will have scratches on you all the time, you will stink from the stench of cigarettes and sweat that is embedded into every surface. It takes a few days to get the smell out of your hair. I have worked in many clubs and the fees here are kind of high. Your house fee starts at 36 and goes up to 66 depending on the time you go in. You must tip the DJ at least 10 and most of the DJ's that work here are bigger divas than the strippers. They want to get paid to play what they want even if you look stupid dancing to what they are playing and you don't get tipped. Even if the customers are yawning they don't care. Some have been good and a lot of those have gotten fired for not playing format. In my opinion you cannot and should not always stick to format. Especially not in Lubbock. Some nights we only get a certain kind of crowd and they will be like WTF if you play them something like country or hip hop. If their are only two customers then maybe we should try to cater to get them tipping. Their are many girls here who are drama queens and will make your life hard and management won't care because they are heavily connected. You have to sell non alcoholic daiquiris or else, if the waitresses say you were turning them away, you will get sent home or worst. Don't even think of coming here in the summer. Place sucks and very few girls make money. Usually only the ones with regulars. It's a college town... and in this club it can be very hard at times. If you want to become a dancer here, just go in and apply. They hire just about anyone. They are not going to turn you down because they make money off of you even if you don't make money.
